The ANW5 Jumping Spider doesn't even compare to 19/26's difficulty from what I could see. You can hit the trampoline just the same without a longer run up and the walls were no where near far away as 19/26's...

Can we just take the Long Jump and Backstream out? Let's save those for a revival of Kinniku Banzuke. You never know if Banzuke is coming back or not. It's been ELEVEN years since it was cancelled, so I think it's gone for good. I think he was joking.

If the intel is correct, the international comp is supposed to air sometime in December as a special to ignite interest during the off-months. I can't wait that long...

If I hear that same girl scream "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW' every 5 seconds during someone's run again I will go crazy.

I can't believe you guys FORGOT Nagano! It was very shocking to see him hurt himself! I'm STILL in shock that the other guys found 10 other shocking fails ALL from Sasuke 29! Nagano's fail wasn't shocking. It's clear he hurt himself after the Long Jump. I'm more shocked he manage to get to the 2nd wall Agreed. I knew from the second where he was limping towards the Log Grip that something happened during the live stream. I was surprised he even made it past the Jump Hang Kai.

Hello. This isn't exactly a "training" thread, but I feel like this is the best place to put it. Less than 24 hours ago I received a fast blow to the left side of my body from a fast, downhill mountain biking accident. I'm currently on vacation in Ireland and we own a house very far outside from any major cities. The closest hospital was a half hospital/half nursing home kind of place. Before entering I knew I had injured my collar bone, or clavicle, gashed the side of my head open (I was wearing a helmet the entire day, but I take it off for one second and this happens...), and various cuts and scrapes all over my body, particularly my knee caps and my left arm. The man who checked me out did not seem to be too professional, and could barely speak any English (He had a German accent). He cleaned up most of my wounds with some anti-bacterial cream and then inspected my clavicle. I thought for sure it was fractured but he said the worst that could be wrong with it would be a small crack that he could not see under the swelling. I asked him if I could get an x-ray done and he tells me they can only be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What. Kind. Of. Hospital. Is. This. I then showed him the side of my head and he said the cut wasn't deep.
I feel horrible. I can't move my left arm because it causes a really sharp pain in my collar bone. (The guy gave me a sling, but this doesn't help that much) As for the side of my head, when ever I open or close my jaw too far there is a sharp pain in the side of my head.
I have learned so much from this accident, and am I kind of happy it happened in a way. I definitely could have been a lot worse--possibly fatal. So please, before you bash me for not wearing a helmet or being careful, TRUST ME, I've learned my lesson.
My question to all of you is what I should do. If I'm to get an x-ray done then it has to be on Thursday and I don't feel like waiting that long. Another option is for me to visit a bigger hospital that is two hours away and have the scans done there. The only problem is that my dad doesn't feel like it's that big of a deal and I doubt he'll take me due to the length of the trip. I'm not too worried about the collar bone as I know that's a fairly common injury, but my main concern is my head. I don't think I got a concussion, as I didn't feel any headaches, nausea, vomiting, etc. But why does my head only hurt when I open my mouth a lot or try to eat food?
If I was back in America then I would not be asking people on the internet for advice, because I live extremely close to a major hospital. But out here there is not much to be done.

Top 15, for the final time this season. Top 15
1. Paul Kasemir; Finished, 3:19.5 2. Josh Cook; Finished, 3:47.83 3. Brian Arnold; Finished, 3:50.43 4. Isaac Caldiero; Finished, 4:03.43 5. Colby Frontiero; Finished, 4:17.2 6. Casey Finlay; Failed Pole Grasper, 2:00.57 7. Tremayne Dortch; Failed Pole Grasper, 2:21.93 8. Kyle Sinacori; Failed Pole Grasper, 2:25.17 9. Andres De La Rosa; Failed Pole Grasper, 3:01.22 10. Chris Romrell; Failed Floating Stairs, 1:41.744 11. Lorin Ball; Failed Floating Stairs, 1:45.18 12. Jake Smith; Failed Floating Stairs, 1:53.85 13. Caleb Garnham; Failed Floating Stairs, 2:01.38 14. Camilo Brokaw; Failed Floating Stairs, 2:39.19 15. Josh Grant; Failed Floating Stairs, 2:43.22 Also, MattyRox, you were disappointed with Jake Smith's run? As in, one of the top 15 runs of the Denver finals? You may have a bit of too-high standards, there. Sam Sann's run is, in my opinion, one of the most inspirational in all 5 seasons. Why wouldn't I have high standards for a two-time Midoriyama veteran? I know he could have easily passed the Floating Stairs if he just took his time. So yes, I was disappointed with his strategy of rushing the beginning of the course, only to gas out towards the end AND dropping from 3rd to 11th place. Now if we were talking about any rookie and I said I was disappointed with his run, then I could see that being an unjust remark. But considering we're talking about such a strong veteran, I don't see it as being degrading.

Sorry for double posting, but my last one was really just a separate reply.
Few things I'd like to note:
What is up with Jake Smith? He always has trouble with the Warped Wall, but it's not like he can't do it. He even has a tutorial video on youtube! I was also disappointed with his run. He rushed the beginning and paid for it later on. There's no way he'll ever pass the 3rd Stage like this. The funny thing is that he's one of my favorite competitors. BRING BACK THE COOL SOCKS.
Sam Sann is amazing. A huge inspiration from his personal background to his run on the course. I'd kill to give him a Wild Card in Vegas.
Amos Rendao... enough with the "Just doing it for fun" stuff if you're just going to rush everything. Levi had a much better approach. There was no reason to have just went straight into the Salmon Ladder.
Paul Kasemir... amazing as always.

I was relieved to see Jake make it to Vegas, and I have to applaud Sam Sann for his valiant effort. What happened with Stephen Volcko? There were guys that they heavily promoted in ANW4, but basically ignored in ANW5, like Stephen. Did anyone ever get Stephen Volcko mixed up with Chris Romrell. Until they mentioned Chris' name I was sure that was him. Oh my God, yes! From the back it looked just like him. I thought it was just me.

Matt does his job exceptionally well. He never shows a sign of disinterest and has a lot of enthusiasm. You can tell a man loves the show when he has come back for four years to do the same job over and over again. Regardless of some of the questionable technique comments he may have made in the past, I think he should never be replaced.
I like Jenn Brown. I've heard a lot of negative comments from her not only on this site but in real life as well. Her job may be simple, but she does it well enough for there to not be any issues.
Akbar has to go. This guy is so annoying.
