For me, it's Kong (the way he slipped was shocking).
Kanno's was kinda surprising, too, to me.

To me it was asa kazuma on the cch . To me kong isn't the best on the cliffhanger obstacles so I expected him to fail early . I was really suprised at asas fail tbh . He practised a lot for that obstacle and he looked really strong ,fast and confident on the first 3 ledges . I also didn't think sato would fail the long jump !!

Yuuji, Ryo, and Okuyama. 3 former finalists (1 with 2 kanzenseihas of course ) all out on the same 2nd Stage obstacle. Is that a record?

Yamamoto and Hashimoto also failed the Backstream and were former finalists. Additionally, Li and Shunsuke lost a fair amount of time on that obstacle and consequently timed out on the Passing Wall. Takahashi and Kanno were the only 2 former finalists who successfully attempted Stage 2 in 29, and both only managed to do so with just a few seconds left; the other 7 (all previously mentioned) failed the stage. This fact alone (that 2 out of the 9 former finalists who were attempting the stage timed out on it) is very shocking if you ask me. In regards to individual failures, Takeda's was most shocking IMO. Even though I guessed him correctly in the guessing game, it was still hard for me to actually see him go out so early once again (especially since I had high hopes for him to at least clear Stage 1 following his debacle in 28). Furthermore, I am used to seeing him be one of the better-performing All-Stars rather than the one to fail the earliest. 28 and 29 are the only two tournaments thus far in which he has failed prior to a trampoline obstacle, and the onlt two times in which he has had the worst standalone performance by an All-Star in a single tournament (I am not counting his failures in 5, 10, and 22 since he tied for the worst All-Star performance in those tournaments).

Can't believe I forgot Shingo and Koji lol. So that makes 5.

You realize this is the SASUKE 29 board, yes?
Anyway, I wasn't surprised to see Nagano fail at the Ni Ren SK again. I would actually say Kongu's fail rates pretty high up there (not where he failed but how he failed).

Nagano's fail wasn't shocking. It's clear he hurt himself after the Long Jump. I'm more shocked he manage to get to the 2nd wall

I knew from the second where he was limping towards the Log Grip that something happened during the live stream. I was surprised he even made it past the Jump Hang Kai.

TBH I was the one that made a mistake. I just wanted to state him because I'm a die-hard Nagano fan!

Did everyone forget about Nagano in 24? Especially with all the hype of him winning, that was a big shocker.
