#3000

Yuuji tied with Kanno for going to farthest in 28. He got 99 in 29. He failed on the Backstream in 29, so I don't see why they would now give him 100 or 3000. This is an anniversary tournament. It has to go to Nagano.

This seems to be about the time when a chain of laid back threads are made to discuss certain things regarding the anticipated Sasuke tournament approaching.
So I'll be personally taking the liberty of making the first one.
The title of this thread says it all, so let's begin. (Note: My predictions are pretty much based on Sasuke 29's course, since we don't have confirmation on the majority of 30's obstacles. Although it's highly unlikely that there won't be any new changes, I doubt the course will be that different from 29's)
Nagano:
I'm 99.999% sure he's getting #3000. I also sincerely predict he'll make it to the 3rd Stage, specifically the Crazy Cliffhanger. The only obstacle I could see him struggling with is the Ni Ren Soritatsu Kabe. He's also perfectly built for the 2nd Stage. The Swap Salmon Ladder, Spider Walk, and Backstream shouldn't be any problem for this speedy fisherman. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to clear the Ultimate Cliffhanger in 27, so I can't see him passing the Crazy Cliffhanger, especially since it would be his first try against in competition.
Yamada:
I see them giving him an undeserved high number since it's a memorial tournament, probably something like 2998. (Yes, I think Yuuji will get 2999. I also understand Yusuke will be getting a high number, but I see him getting something around 2995, with Kanno and Asa retaining their numbers from last time) As for Yamada's actual result... he's not clearing the Long Jump. It anyone wants to bet against me, go for it.
Shingo:
He did well last time, but after watching his performance in ANW5, I could see him pulling a fluke early on. So I predict his feet skimming the water on the Jump Hang Kai. Pretty specific, I know. But he's don't it before, and in 29 his feet weren't that far away from making the same mistake as he was crossing the cargo net. If that doesn't happen, I could see him failing the Passing Wall or Iron Paddler, but I'll go with the Jump Hang for now. As for his number, something in the low 90's.
Takeda:
I'm pretty confident he'll clear Stage 1 this time. It's possible he'll go out on the Swap Salmon Ladder, but my gut tells me the Cliffhanger will be his doom. I honestly see many people making it to the 3rd Stage this time anyway. Number, eh, low 90's like Shingo.
Bunpei:
I'd say his result is even harder to predict than Shingo's. Unlike Yamada, he can clear the Long Jump. If he were to fail Stage 1, it'd have to be either the second wall or a time out at the end of the stage. I'm gonna say he times out right before the Final Climb. No idea on what number he gets.

Someone better grab some solid footage! I have been having a heck of a time finding good footage from any of the events. I hear they sometimes broadcast everything on some channel called NBC or something.

Sorry but I'm annoyed by that. It's like you didn't bother reading what was going on in the background or even knew their history. Or you forgot how Sasuke started. Don't make assumptions as to how I formulated my opinion. I am disappointed by the course. Simple. Edit. I also want to note that I wasn't expecting a course that could be fit for a Sasuke 30 or something of that nature, but the fact that an actual Sasuke competition was the prelims for this random assortment of obstacles is very odd to me. But this backwardness isn't even what bothers me. It's just the course as a whole.

Disappointed by the course.

I'd maybe watch this if the following changes were made:
A. Simpler course B. Get rid of the stupid "Ultimate Phase 3 Super Duper Extreme blah, blah, blah" title. It just sounds dumb. C. If the course was actually realistic D. Stop posting these every so often
I'd suggest just having someone win, and making a simple renewal course. "Stickman Sasuke Restoration 1" or whatever. You can make hard obstacles without making them super big and unrealistic too.

I was born and currently live in New York, but I have Irish citizenship. Would I be eligible to try out? Is the age limit 18? I don't have time to read all of this.
Edit: I skimmed through the thread. Can't believe they cut out the UK.

Whoa! That's a bit off topic, don't ya think? I write a PUBLIC apology, and THIS IS THE THANKS I GET? You know, there are rules in this joint. I suggest you follow 'em. Allow me to salvage this topic while I still can, who's excited for the DOORKNOB GRASPER!?

I've been joking around the whole time ya numb nut. Derailing a thread and provoking a mod is kinda a way of making sure you take a long vacation. Just sayin'. And back to topic. I have no idea how badly ANW will be blown out by DWTS. It's base of 4-5 million have been pretty solid and they've been counted on week in week out. I doubt it will drop significantly. Completely different demographic. I highly doubt it will be in first (network) like the past few weeks that ANW has had zero competition (since everything has been on repeats) and NBC loves to ignore it's placing when you take into account cable kicking it's a** since day 1. LOL We'll see though. I put ANW solidly in 2nd place (network) next week. To drop further would be surprising. Oh, PUBLIC APOLOGY to my dear, dear pal, TCM. The last thing I need is a luxurious vacation in the Tropical Bahamas away from the ever so vibrant Sasuke Maniac Gang. And Arsenette, you know NOTHING could ever get between our personal relationship, so I think a sorry from me would be pretty pointless. OH! But back to topic! Monday Night Football is gonna be a real kick to the GROIN to American Ninja Warrior, but I think they'll make it out on top.

If you want to take it as an insult, that's on you. But let's not take this off-topic because we have a disagreement on something silly. I've been joking around the whole time ya numb nut.

I would imagine it would take less time to click on the link, use your find function and see how long the episode is as opposed to typing a response and hoping the person you're expecting an answer from is still on when you post it. I also don't have time for you.

Salmon Ladder is broken.
Time Limit is too high.
I like the concept of the first obstacle, just poorly executed

Nice job. You beasted the Salmon Ladder on your first attempt ever.
