I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on beyond the sidewinder. A few things confuse me. 1. The two easily-visible cliffhanger ledges show the crazy transition is still there, but I'm not seeing ledge that is higher on the left side than the right. Is the transition upwards now? 2. There seems to be some obstacle piece directly above the first cliffhanger ledge. Maybe has to do with a new way of transitioning to the second ledge in the right? 3. How the heck is one supposed to get from the ledge on the right to what I assume is the vertical limit in the center? I am geometrically confused. Keep in mind there might be parts hidden behind the Sidewindrr and perspective can be a tricky thing from this angle, I'm sure there's more than the eye can see here...

Damnnn I almost called the Drum Hopper Kai (I thought it would be 3 up then 2 down), also is there any platform before Sidewinder or is it a straight transition into the Sidewinder? Also that last section looks ridiculous x) Hardly any break between what looks like a Double CCH/VL and then Pipe Slider. So I guess Drum Hopper is OB2? So does that mean there's one more before it that we haven't seen yet?

He called it 第1エリア, 1st Area and in Sasuke obstacles are called "Areas" officially, Drum Hopper Kai is ob1 Also yes there is a platform between Drum Hopper Kai and Sidewinderr, it's the most obvious one in the picture, it's the one that's blocked by the DHK but blocking the SW As for the rest of the stage I have no comments but yeah that's what it looks like so far...

Im equally confused, depth is obv difficult to judge in the photo but is it possible its cliffhanger, vertical limit then the other cliffhanger? Transitions seem impossible but would be LOL fun to watch

EDIT: Wait, something's not right on the original photo that we got of stage 3 from Tie Fighter
EDIT2: Something just clicked in my head and its going 'nobody's passing 3rd stage'. Or they haven't finished building 3rd stage yet in the video for tie fighter

From Tie Figher photo/video, the cliffhanger on the left is first. My theory is on cliffhanger -> vertical -> cliff -> vertical. If they did cliff -> cliff though, it would be nearly impossible because 1. its jumping upwards and 2. there's a SEVERE GAP between the first cliffhanger and the next obstacle.

Long story short, it seems like Drew will be drooling all over these Stage 3 obstacles (even though I bet he fell prey to the same obstacle as the others who made it this far)

The obstacle where you jump is back lol forgot the name It's called the Sidewinder, or the Sidewinder-R, TBS used both names... (Although when spoken it was Sidewinder)

If you read back I was suggesting that the higher cliffhanger was first, jump to lower, and then vertical limit is right there. The higher one definitely looks like the closest.

{Spoiler}Is it me or is the Sidewinder/Sidewinder-R is the First obstacle on Stage 3? Cause from the picture, The Drum Hopper seems to be behind the Sidewinder, and before the sidewinder is nothing. So..?
{Spoiler}I'm Mistaken. It's not the first obstacle. I couldn't tell the cliffhangers & vertical limits if i look closely. My apologies.

So..? At least to me, it looks like Sidewinder is first obstacle from that second picture...correct me if I'm wrong. You're very wrong , it's in the same place it was last year, Drum Hopper Kai is the start of the picture (What's before it? It is a mys... Oh wait wrong thread ), then Sidewinderr, then the rest of stage 3 which you can see if you know what you're looking for, but we're looking at it from a perspective of a competitor about to attempt DHK, you can also see the announcers booth on the left side of the picture and supports for the Final Stage on the right side

If you mean, why this is on youtube - it's not an official upload. It'll be gone whenever TBS gets around to noticing it. If you mean, why are they on TBS, no talent/comedian/actor is tied to any specific channel. Downtown has weekly shows on TBS, Fuji and NTV/Yomiuri. That's in addition to shows they aren't together on, which gets Asahi in there for good measure. Only announcers are tied down to their networks. I only knew about the shows they are/were doing in Fuji, NTV and Yomiuri, that's why I found it weird. Thank you for the info on this.

Flying Bar is back, no idea whether its at the beginning or the end of stage 3. And Sidewinder R is actually Sidewinder R Kai, looks the same to me but the 2nd and 3rd jumps are 60cm lower I think.
Edit: Or maybe google translate just butchered it lol.

As you can read from the descriptions.. Sidewinder R Kai is modified to include a huge change.. now they drop 60 cm (about 24 inches or 2 feet).

Wow that's a lot of nods to ANW so far. Which is strange coming from someone who hates it. But kudos to him for incorporating the ideas in.
