I laughed because when I first saw it I was going "wait.. that looks like a friggin' tie fighter.. no way they wouldn't call it that.. then I heard that was the official name! AHAHHAHAHA

Apparently Sidewinder R is returning (it's in the background of the tie fighter picture)

I hope in this broadcast at least, they mention the past achievements of Brent and Kacy. Wouldn't want TBS to turn into NBC with the lies of omission.

I'm kinda shocked they can get away with using that obstacle/name. It seems very copyrightable, and all the more so since Disney owns Star Wars now. In any case, it's interesting to see a sliding Spider-type obstacle so early in the course. It'll be neat to see how it plays out, and if/how it might work differently than what one may expect from a traditional Spider Walk obstacle (as it seems a tad shaky in addition to the obvious sliding/dropping mechanism). Also, is it just me, or does it look like in the back of that demo video, Stage 3 actually has something reminiscent to a Swap Crazy Cliffhanger?

I'm not sure which is funnier, how Inui hates ANW and its obstacles but still used the term Quad Steps and copied the Frame Slider
Or the fact the modded Frame Slider is legitimately the TIE Fighter lol

Indeed, that seems to be the case, also there's truss coming up over the top and looks like there's more gear than usual there, I'm sure there's even more to this beast than we can tell

I hope the Golden Bomber flies through that Tie Fighter fast and true.

I hope the Golden Bomber flies through that Tie Fighter fast and true. I mean there are two of them this time, you've got Darvish Kenji returning and Kyan Yutaka is also competing, however as the "drummer" and "guitarist" of Golden Bomber, an air band, that means both of them just pretend to play an instrument (Well, I don't know who does it in the studio for them lol )

It's very far back so it's a bit tricky to see, but it almost looks akin to Cannonball Alley from ANW. (There are what looks like 3 chains with different sized balls on the end).
Or I could be wrong and it could be cameras or something, but hey, I tried =P

Might as well be the perfect start to the obstacles thread then. Keep all obstacle-related talk, including official reveals and theories here.

The Quad Steps into the Rolling Hill seems quite dangerous for the first obstacle(s).

So is Quad Steps + Roller Hill considered a single large obstacle or two individual ones with no break?

I believe they're two separate obstacles, just without a break in between the two. It's similar in concept to the Salmon Ladder going immediately into the Stick Slider, Jumping Bars into Hang Climbing, etc.
