Callbacks for being accepted aren't going out yet, but I'm hopeful things might be going sooner considering they made this announcement in the email:
On a related note. Actually announcing location and dates this early? Giving people time to prepare?

Unfortunately, I didn't get around to submitting an application this year.  Hopefully I'll be able to get an entry in next year for ANW8, and if any of the locations are relatively close to me this year I'll try going as a spectator. |

Dates and locations are supposed to be announced tomorrow, so check back sometime soon. I'm sure that information will be posted all over the place once it's out.
Out of curiosity, where are you, Yam? I'd like to meet up with you if possible.

I've never understood the people who turn in videos that are like two and a half minutes over the time limit. Casting has to sit through thousands and thousands of videos. They don't want your life story.
So good on you for keeping it short and sweet, RC. Mine was 2:42.

mine was originally 2:25 but added stuff to beginning and end to put me at exactly 3 mins. also finally put the fact that I literally bruised my heart in my video. hoping its a story they want to exploit

I think I remember seeing a few 5+ minute entries for this season (it was minimum of 5 minutes in the past if memory serves, I think 5 was the limit last year). It's possible they just missed the time limit change. |
