Sorry, I'm having difficulty adding more than one pic per post, and I also keep getting the "file is too big" error. Working on it! Also, if I want to share vids, do I have to paste them from youtube, or is there a way to upload directly?

Not sure if these go here, but it was all part of the same trip for me. Some pics with our pals Tadachi and Ryoichi Arashida, during our visit to Arashida's youtube-famous warehouse training gym up in Nagai-shi, Yamagata!

Awesome stuff Mike! Keep it coming! BTW, on a side note did Arashida mention anything about him in SASUKE 29? He was featured in an interview on the SASUKE RISING YouTube page, but oddly enough they cut his run.

He was featured in an interview on the SASUKE RISING YouTube page, but oddly enough they cut his run. I think we learned that he failed the Hedgehog. Pretty sure. I found this, not sure how relevant is: This is pure speculation, but he probably failed the Hedgehog. In "the room" between Stage 1 and Stage 2, there appears to be a clip of him on that obstacle while the people are talking. Although the clip is not seen in its entirety, such splices of footage are generally short highlights of notable fails or clears. Considering the nature being a First Stage recap, I'm assuming the Hedgehog is where he failed (especially since he seemed to be having a bit of trouble near the end of the clip); nevertheless, this is still a mere assumption and therefore should only be taken with a grain of salt. I would agree that it is him on the Hedgehog and would argue that he failed there. Though, I guess we can wait for him to confirm it. Also, when working on SASUKEpedia, I found out that #65 Toshiharu Takami (who failed the SSL) competed in the SASUKE 21 Trials. He was in the same group as Jun Sato and Ryouma Kato and advanced along with Sato in that group.

Awesomeness! I wonder if the pic from the front will ever surface? I can't remember who snapped it, just that I got frigging ambushed!

He was featured in an interview on the SASUKE RISING YouTube page, but oddly enough they cut his run. Unfortunately, we weren't able to chat directly with Ryoichi that much. Tadachi was our main translator after we left the warehouse, and he did a great job, but communication was still pretty limited. Breaking out the rosetta stone and anime in earnest for the next trip!
