The videos keep coming in! Seems like the guys are literally having the time of their lives. Looks like they're having even more fun than at an actual Sasuke tournament! Competitive against each other my foot.

If you want an international experiences or cultural exchange you can join the military, study abroad, or join the peace corp. Sure Malaysia is cool and exotic, but I'd be there to compete on a legit course, or a chance to get an invite to Sasuke. If I'd get neither opportunity, disappointment would be an understatement. It's not about the international aspect, it's about the camaraderie which is the heart of this sport. As you can see all the guys there are having a great time, probably the time of their lives. Look at Ryo. Guy isn't even competing. Having a blast though. I understand the once in a lifetime kind of experience stuff but maybe 3-5k is different to me and you or anyone else there. Not gonna bother replying to the other person who disagrees and blocks me because we have different views. And as for Ryo, the kid probably got to go for free. I'm not trying to argue, it's just my view. If anyone disagrees it's cool. As for the results.... Wow Drew is a beast. Let's see him do it at ANW or Sasuke. Then it was all worth the while.

It's funny to think that I just saw Drew earlier this week, and now he is halfway around the world and he won the ASEAN cup!

Have we got any details for the team competition? Is it just the overall best time as a team or are they having matches like USA Vs Japan? Just had an idea for a cool competition. I'll post it in another thread.

The format has been discussed multiple times (actually I don't know how they plan to do the team.. I assume the same? We'll find out soon. Going to work on Day 3 blog now but checked current photos and am laughing at the this one: Nagano ordering Ryo around and making him part of the clean up crew! LOL Team Japan at the conclusion of the Team event Day 3 photos - nice photos actually Btw preliminary reports of the Team Finals from someone on twitter: 1. Usa 2.japan 3.Malaysia 4.taiwan (there were more countries just those are the top 4)

Okay it is official! Team USA won! ( Strat) Obviously everyone knows who is in this photo: Mike Bernardo, Brian Kretsch, Drew Dreschel (who also won individual), David Campbell and Ryan Stratis ( Drew) For now I will only post one picture for today. It still has not sunk in. I took the fastest time in all three stages, best overall time, and USA won the team competition.. now what do I do with my life?

More photos trickling in. I'll do what I can to consolidate them as they come in (as I work in my blog LOL) SM posted photos of Day 4 - Team Finals Asa - at least it looks like him ( 3 photos) Drew and Michelle ( Fan posted on SMFB) Team Final Draw ceremony ( Zai) Finally finished my day 3 (Saturday) blog. While researching that I found a site that had a cubic butt-ton of photos and video. A lot easier to just link his facebook since it's public and the long list of stuff is there. Inui is starting to post photos. Btw I"m hearing that there are some on the Team Japan side. can someone link the photos and the page so I can properly credit them for tomorrow's blog? Team Japan's Silver MedalFan photo with Drew Drew posted 4 photos on his facebook including the podium

Wow, this is amazing! Lots of stuff... (^_^) Seems to me everyone was having a blast. Arsenette, nice blog posts (still unable to leave comments). American team - bravo! Aww, look at team Japan... Great pic! (Shingo seems genuinely happy. ^^ ) This was a great success, undoubtedly (not just for the competitors).
