1. No they're not NDA'ing obstacles. Not for the audience. If you are hoping to run the course, though, they NDA a lot, including the official rules. I had a great day, I enjoyed myself a lot, and I hope to be able to say things eventually! If anyone is planning on attending the filming of the Semi-Finals tomorrow, I hear they want the audience to arrive by 7:15 and if possible be able to stay for 10 hours. 7AM or PM? Regardless, staying all day and night for a Sasuke full taping is one thing, but for what still boils down to a trials competition, yeesh. Competitors is one thing, audience, crazy.

Good to see it getting some coverage, granted that doesn't really mean much with local news stations *glares at "paddle bridge" people*
But we can confirm that it was Rope Junction for one of those days...
And I don't think that guy's 1:46 is going to hold up

Awww it's so cute.. Checking Yuuji's tweets and he's keeping up with the USA trials. He wasn't sure if today was the final for Dallas or not.. and he's frustrated he can't come to the USA..

Oh, I meant 7:15pm
They wanted the qualifiers to be during sunlight hours and the semifinals to be at night under the lights.
They were checking the lighting for the course last night, and I gotta say, it's going to look awesome. It's kinda like if you combined the feel of Stage Three with the colors of Stage Two and the "enough light" feel of Stage One. I just hope it looks that good tonight and it wasn't just me feeling all "game show nerdvana".

Well I heard for both regions the top 30 didn't consist of 30 clears each..... No names. Bada can shine light on that. But if someone cleared, they more than likely made it through

I'm in that Local NBC news video at the 0:16 mark. I guess despite my result looking obvious all I can say is that I was there. NDA's take all the fun out of this.

OK here's some info from a reliable source who I will leave anonymous for NDA reasons. The rumor about 30 clears total is true, only 20 cleared in Mid-South and only 10 cleared in the Midwest. Some notable semi-finalists from mid-south were Paul Kasemir, Lorin Ball (both of them cleared and have the fastest times in mid-south), Jake Smith, Brandon Douglass, Allan Conneally. For Midwest notable competitors who made it to semis were Matt Laessig (BTW congrats to him, he was 29th and failed the wall, he almost got knocked out), Steve Volcko and a G4 forum member named Cade Halada. Also a walkon competitor named David Seitz cleared as well and this was his first time competing. The 5th obstacle was brutal on both days (Both the curtains in Midwest and the Rope Junction in Mid-South), even Rich King failed the Rope Junction (He was also nervous before starting, even to the point of visibly shaking). Only like 35 people even made it to the warped wall in midwest. As for the obstacles, The Rope Junction had the ropes spaced out, if you missed a rope your momentum was gone, you were practically done if you had two hands on the same rope, the Curtain Slider needed your full momentum to reach the Curtain Swing portion, only a couple competitors were able to clear after missing it on their first swing (you have to get to the curtain swing portion on your first try if you want to stand a chance). Only 3 female competitors made it to the Jump Hang, all 3 failed. All 3 of which were Mid-South, in Midwest no female competitors passed the Log Grip While he did not make Semi Finals, our very own Chris Ketchum (You may know him from Kouen Supiritto or his Youtube Channel) was described as having an "Epic run" Only two or three competitors could clear the Warped Wall on their first try, but if you cleared the Warped Wall you were confirmed for Semi-Finals. Also since there have been people wondering about it, there is no sponsor this time and Alison Haislip is indeed gone, she was replaced by an asian girl named Angela (My source did not catch her last name, but knowing G4 if you watch them I assume you know who we mean). Although not all competitors got an interview, only select competitors who did well on the course or had costumes original enough. Matt Iseman and Johnny Mosely were still the commentators for runs. As for the broadcast, Qualifier rounds will air on G4, Semi-Finals and Vegas will air on NBC

Apex said they were sending 20 ppl to tryouts so no surprise they dominated the results there.
I'm gonna guess Miami results will be be somewhere between venice and dallas, but anything can happen, especially with the 3rd & 5th obstacle roulette G4's playing.
