This thread is SPECIFICALLY for results.. no speculation, no predictions. This is for those who are going next week and have reports for those of us who are not in the area to watch for ourselves. Given how close it is I figured I might as well create the thread now before I forget. In a week or so I'll do one for Miami.

I will likely be going. I'm not sure which big name competitors will be there, but I will do my best to record runs and keep track of results.

Don't worry, I'll be taking my camera and posting updates when I'm available. I'm not too good on competitors who arn't so "big named" but we can always dissect my footage after I return home. Dunno if I am staying for semi's or not. (Or if I am allowed to)

On that note, are there any competitors that we can confirm are going to the dallas tryouts? Most of the big names seem to have been at LA or will be going to Miami later this month.
Only one I know of is Chris K. He's a member here but he doesn't post much. I guess Blackie Chan would be going to Dallas if he's actually competing this year. Evan Dollard should've been in this region but I heard he was in LA as-well competing.
Uncle-Sam said he was trying to go to the Miami tryouts instead because he couldn't be free during the Dallas tryouts.
I'm sure there are a lot of people I am forgetting.

Everyone from Colorado parkour..... Paul Kasemir, Brandon Douglass, Alan Connealy, Amos Rendao.... William Spencer is from Colorado. Steve Volcko should be in that region as well.

There will be 125 competitors running the course on day 14 (mid-west). I would assume the number is probably similar for South Central as well.
Note: I have no idea if this includes walkons or not. I am assuming they chose 125 video submissions and will accept walkons based on how many of those actually show up.

it is possible that come the time of the competition that they haven't cast 125 competitors and that competitors they do cast don't show because of how late they notify them. for the NW there were a lot of walk-ons but not so many for the SW

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Notifications for the mid-west how been extremely late, though I'm not sure if they came later than any other regions. People getting phone calls only 5 days in advance of their schedule.

I know Cali has a walk-on law.. I don't believe any other state has it so if they have enough they are bound by law to accept them. That said.. they might add more to fill it out if they didn't have enough.. All they really need are the 30 for regional finals. So long as they get close to the number of entrants.. it really doesn't matter in the long run as long as they get their required 30 going into Regional finals. I also expect lost of shuffling of regions. We know that's already happened so who knows.. someone from another region might be in this one.

Andrew Karsen (Got 11th in ANW1) will probably be in the Midwest region. He actually lives only a few miles away from me!

"Location: Michigan"
So yes, that would be accurate.
