The 5th obstacle (edit: I'm signing an NDA, so I removed the remainder of this comment written beforehand to avoid the appearance of impropriety).
I was there in the second audience, and I didn't see anyone else in costume, so either Badalight didn't want to walk up and introduce himself, or he was only in the first audience (they changed audiences around lunch).
I got told "be here at 7am and don't forget your cape", so here's to hoping Captain Obvious gets to run the course tomorrow! (edit: although I won't be allowed to confirm or deny my participation afterwards)

sure is different without a webcam... Yeah I searched for a webcam in that Dallas area and could not find one like the one I found in Venice.

So happy Matt Leassing DID manage to get on the course. Obviously won't say how he did but they let him on as a walkon since last minute they told him he wasn't a guaranteed person. Drove 3 days with his kids and wife in the car thinking he had a spot. Luckily they did have a walkon for him and he got to run. Man.. what a rollercoaster.

Well if he comes here he doesn't come here often.
As for the G4 boards yeah I don't pay attention to those.

Paul Kasemir is in the South Central region, not the Midwest.

Well if that is who we think, he's recovered from things that look hopeless in freeze-frame before

Unless he's trying to somersault and catch that net, it doesn't look good for him.... It says March 14. Paul Kasemir is in the South Central region, not the Midwest. Maybe he wanted to run early. If it's not him, it's his twin cousin. Though he's not wearing the jeans.... who knows? Edit: *Ahem*: "Sam Frazier, 24, from Colorado warms up before the tryouts for American Ninja Warrior TV Show at Dallas Fair Park on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. " Other people from Colorado ran.... still don't want it to be him.

1. No they're not NDA'ing obstacles. 2. I've been confirmed Paul did just fine (cleared), so if that is him, he saved himself.... if it's not, it's his twin cousin who failed miserably.

1. No they're not NDA'ing obstacles. Not for the audience. If you are hoping to run the course, though, they NDA a lot, including the official rules. I had a great day, I enjoyed myself a lot, and I hope to be able to say things eventually! If anyone is planning on attending the filming of the Semi-Finals tomorrow, I hear they want the audience to arrive by 7:15 and if possible be able to stay for 10 hours.

Ha, good luck with that g4. I saw on another site where they were offering about $50 or $60 for audience members to stay and be enthusiastic for the duration of the taping. I plan on watching the semi's but I'm not sure if I could hold out for that long.
