I used to play Dynasty Warriors when I was a young kid (never little, just young ) on my friend's Sega Saturn. Good times, good times. Looking at my collection, the closest I can get to a guilty pleasure is one of the WWE SvR games, and NBA Jam, and maybe Dead Rising (Although I still stand by it's sheer awesomeness) I wouldn't really call dead rising a guilty pleasure, that's a pretty highly acclaimed game. Yeah, I'd say the wrestling games are probably a guilty pleasure. I play them too Dynasty warriors on the sega saturn? Definitely not the same kind of game as the current ones. Another guilty pleasure of mine: Pretty much any dragonball Z game, especially the Tenkaichi/Budokai series. Same deal.. they'd release practically the same game every year, with maybe 3 or so extra character and I'd buy it... every time.

Which is a part of it's charm. That's why I'd say it's a guilty pleasure. I mean, drinking a spitfire juice that turns your spit into bullets? Dumb, but fun.

I'd have to say my guilty pleasure is Majesty. Made by Cyberlore back in 2000, it was an RTS where you constructed buildings and recruited hero units (fighter, ranger, etc), who then ran around and did what they wanted to. That right, a game where you can't controll your army. Sounds weird, but quite fun.

OH MY GOD I LOVE MAJESTY! That game is the most enjoyable RTS I've ever played. I don't know why, but I have a hell of a lot more fun playing that than any other RTS.

I missed Dragon Age the first time around (hubby stole the xbox and played it) so I'm going on my first go around with Dragon Age 1. Friend of mine is working on 2 atm. I'll do that maybe later in the year.

Heard Dragon Age 2 was disappointing.
Never played either myself though.
I'm totally getting Dynasty Warriors 7 come April 1st.

"Hawken", a Mech-FPS being developed on the Unreal Development Kit (Unreal Engine 3), looks freaking amazing. Reminds me of the older MechWarrior (PC), MechAssault (Xbox), and Armored Core (PS1-3) games.
Namco Bandai needs to take note of this, and make a Gundam / Code Geass game like this.

Dear god that looks amazing. I always loved those kind of mechs as opposed to the "gundams" and stuff you'd expect out of armored core 4.
I also really like the mechs in front mission.
Also reminds me of a game that came out awhile ago called steel battalion. Had this HUGE awesome setup and you basically controlled a mech using really cool gaming peripherals.
I'm also really liking the graphics of that game. I hate games with dark grainy and boring backgrounds. Usually you'd find that in some sort of post apocalyptic games like Gears of War.
Except in this game it still has that dark dreary style, but the way the colors are used really keeps it from being boring.

I always wanted to play Steel Battalion!! The controller alone was a selling point for me with that game, oh dear god the memories. I can't wait for Hawken though, looks amazing =D

I can't wait for Hawken though, looks amazing =D My dad bought it when it first came out (alas he doesn't have it anymore). The game was crazy fun. Unfortunately it was insanely hard, like insanely. There are no continues or saves in that game. Infact you kind of only have 1 life... it's really realistic. You pilot your mech and if you die you have to start the game over. Though there IS an eject button. You press that and you live! Unfortunately you mech is destroyed and you'll need to buy a new one (which you probably won't be able to especially if you die in the first few levels). Me, my brother, my dad, and all of his friends tried. We just couldn't get past the 3rd level.

Finished Dragonage:Origins three times and its awesome even though it had a crazy amount of bugs/glitches. Just got Dragonage 2 and it is nothing like the first game; it could easily be a completely different game. It also reminds me of FF12 - the character Fenris has the sme voice as Balthier.
I'll reserve judgment so far but i understand why people claimed it was a dissapointment. I mean, it isn't even a sequel!
Ah well, i'm still gonna give a proper go.

Sonic Generations = Must. Immediate. Buy.
Kinda sucks it's not out for Wii as well. Would be the perfect game to get me to start buying games for it. Oh well, at least I have the 360.
