Drew was about as off his game as he gets in Vegas last year, doubt we see any slips from him. Wait did we see the same thing? Drew was the LMS. I think the point was that Drew was less than smooth and seemed off when Vegas started last year. He's good enough that he recovered and turned in the best showing. As for Sasuke 33, I'm always nervous lol. Jet lag, different obstacles, temp issues. I'm paranoid and may be over interpreting things too.

There are what, 3 foreign competitors this tournament? And all are recent Sasuke vets (Drew x5, Liao x4, & Wreathman x3) I'm not shocked or really upset at all given it's an anniversary tournament. Hopefully we get another tournament in the fall and our resident hero Geoff can make it

I expected Tomo at 99 and then either Drew or Jun. Nagasaki in front of them surprised me a little.
Bigger question: how did Yamada take it when he looked at his bib number and then at Shingo and Takeda's numbers...

I had just discovered Asian cinema and had been draining the local video store of every Japanese and Chinese movie they had. One night I was super bored and started scanning thru my DirectTv listings for anything at all. There it was:
G4: Ninja Warrior
OMG! A ninja tv show from Japan! Episodic!! Sweet!
Wait...what the hell is this? This announcer is super excited...wait...that octopus is alive....is that a Japanese Superman? Did that guy just die? This....this is so cool.....
The rest is history.

That is never public unless they mention it themselves and usually they don't. X2. Last year we found out about Kacy and Brent when they came clean at the airport en route. Drew was even shadier. If he hadn't Instagrammed a pic doing a handstand at the airport in China, it would have been a total mystery to us here. With his new gym opening literally a week ago, I'm sadly not expecting him to go.

Just read the Variety article. Reportedly they are going to stay on-air through the summer. I imagine they will hype the digital platform all spring during Team Ninja and summer re-runs of ANW. Gives them some time to figure out what to do with ANW spin-offs, Sasuke, etc.

As great as Wisconsin was, I found it a bit unfair that their anchor guy is 27 and a ANW vet who cleared qualifying last year in Indy.

You and Brian Wilczewski? Jeez the ninjas better be ready for some out of this world obstacles. Geoff is working with ATS? Yeah, he posted it on his Instagram a few weeks back.

Drew is on the Wolfpack Ninja Podcast today. They talk about last night quite a bit as well as his time on Sasuke. Really good interview with a crazy busy guy.

Hopefully these get uploaded to Kodi. My firestick has been the best entertainment purchase ever. But the Ninja Warrior uploads on the Exodus app are mostly dead.

...and they spoiled her clearing Stage 1. I absolutely KNEW they were going to do that. Also surprised they're showing her the first week, I figured more people might be watching on Labor Day.
In a bit of hilarity, they posted this today on Instagram. They got slaughtered by ppl pissed about spoilers. They have since deleted all the comments and appear to be removing any criticism of the ad. But you know it will help ratings.

With the re-airing of the Kunoichi shows, it almost makes me wonder if Esquire may be trying to gauge interest in producing an all female special/spinoff.

I wonder whether they will show Americans in 25 and 26. Wasn't it 26 that they edited them out and showed them separate on NBC?

From USA TODAY: 'Ninja Warrior' fans: See the Japanese original NBC-owned Esquire Network to marathon subtitled tournament that started it all. usat.ly/2aNnG8E Not a great article but does mention new, post-26 episodes will begin airing in 2017.

Speaking of bodybuilding Sasuke guys, I bought a Weekly manga magazine last week at my local Japanese market and this jewel was inside the back cover page. Always like this guy...

I'm wondering if Grace will be on Stratisfaction or if they will add a new team with her, Brett, and someone else.

I feel like I'm the only one who likened the dairy farmer to nails on a chalkboard....I actually muted his fluff piece and run. 😔
