it definitively can still deliver in the wipeouts so it's atleast overall alright, but the editing and I'll give it time for a chance of it improving, but just have to say it's really wonky in the qualifier. The qualifier went way too fast, we never had a full qualifier run shown and it just felt like you barely got to proccess a run before they switched to another one.. The gauntlet rounds pretty decent, and idk if this was due to COVID, or it's just making it a proto round 2/3, but I kinda wish it was all 6 in 1 heat, not 2 seperate because that certainly contributed to the rushed qualifier edit. Oh and the hosts, yeah currently wouldn't say better than the original or the UK version hosts, but its so early on that they could improve.

Just found this mentioned on the ninja warrior subreddit I guess because of it also having a stage system, but it involves production staff of Run For Money which I dont know but maybe someone does. Havent watched it all yet, but seemingly according to the website it involves 28 contestants including idols, comedians and athletes who run this course and in stage 1 that I've seen, they have to go through this small obstacle course while getting all the red balls on a time limit. When the time runs out, someone chases after them and knocks them off if they get to them. Can't say yet for further stages as I'm not there yet. This is the first and only one so far I think, they could do more but I guess it'd depend on the success Edit: Just noticed video kinda abruplty cuts out, but dont want to think it missed too much at the end www.fujitv.co.jp/b_hp/ochiruna/

I thought power tower was only shown during the finals for this season? nope, theres a part in qualifier where the top 2 times compete on the power tower and whoever wins gets all of their team to the semi finals even if they didnt qualify. It kinda seems that way since Julius and Taylor werent shown off in a team, and Taylor's time of 2:21 on Slingshot versus 11th places 1:25 is too much of a difference, especially since other people who didnt qualify failed Slingshot and the likely speculation is Drew was in the top 12, probably top 2, leading to the power tower cut, and Taylor being forced in the top 12 to hide his presence. (She'd qualify anyways as part of the women top 3, but she didnt seem to be part of the legit top 12, and Jody probably didnt win it otherwise his teammates would be mentioned as part of the semi finals)

and to get into the whole teams thing although its still not really all clear yet, the people these top 50 ninjas pick can be a existing ninja or a rookie. For example, Sean Bryan has revealed his picks on Instagram as {Spoiler} Father Stephen Gadberry and David Womelsdorf.
Just to gather based on these twos previous stats and possibly wondering how other ninjas picks may be like {Spoiler} Stephen failed the 3rd obstacle in ANW 10 and was a featured run, while David qualified for city finals in ANW 10/11 but failed the 5th obstacle each time, being cut both times in qualifier and digested both times in city finals. Both are religious as he is too.

recent promo link. Theres a less HD version on Youtube that was shown last week after the Titan Games like this one at the finale and is about the same but it featured Drew in it with part of a interview and on the course, while the reedited promo fully cut him with different scenes now. did you happen the capture the promo with Drew in it? Not mine, but

So... Season's done, and results for the entire thing are known {Spoiler for how Natalie Duran does} actually, very well. She made it to the finale, with 7 others with the game becoming individual late on and she overall placed 4th, also was the best placing female of the season in the end, but it's only one winner, and not a one male and female winner thing the challenge sometimes does, which kinda sucks, and is a bit unfair, but eh.

supposedly, Duran's teamed with Paulie (BB18, only came on the challenge last season, but fresh meat players never played at all). He can be a douche, but they might be a strong team.

Theme of the season is Fresh Meat 3 (although name could be different, its basically based on the Fresh Meat format). A team season where a veteran is paired up with a new player aka a noobie or fresh meat, pretty sure it has to be a male/female team for everyone, so Duran's going to be paired up with some male veteran.
Also, watch out for spoilers, cause Challenge seasons are highly spoiled during filming, so might want to avoid challenge fan sites or something like that, that don't really have a spoiler policy.
(like, if you did want to discuss in here though, probably need to use spoiler tags for anything that is before a episode about it airs)

There is going to be more info about the show in the Survivor Ghost Island reunion. Ok meh, not actually a lot, just mostly a montage from the show, primarily fails and attempting to be witty. Also if people didnt already know, it starts airing July 11th 8PM EST and there are 10 episodes.

Chad Sorrels was an instant classic. Oh god, he had the most cringy profile ever for after ANW went to NBC after G4 shut down. Also, another gif. I guess he just didnt want to get into the water?

JJ Woods and Kevin Bull had their run relegated to YouTube. Cass Clawson, Matthew Ilgenfritz, and Michael Silenzi got cut completely on both stages. That has to suck. You make to stage 2 and you get 0 air time. The person who got the worst fate for this was Jason Williams in ANW7. He literally got no airtime anywhere. He wasnt not ever featured or digested in the qualifiers, city finals, or S1/S2 of Vegas.

Last time in ANW7, where there was a stage 3 of 8 and 2 total victories, with 38, 5 were cut.
