I weighed about 142 pounds at 5'11" around this same time last year, but now I weigh about 155 pounds at 6'0". So, I've probably gained weight, which is what I wanted to do, because of an increase in muscle, some fat, and height I assume. I know I've gained muscle due to the way I exercise now and the mesurements of my body. I exercise more for strength now than endurance. How do you calculate your body fat percentage? Because I'm interested in getting that down as well. I'd want to be around 10% or lower, but not too much lower.

I doubt you work out hard enough or eat right to gain 20 pounds of muscle, so it's probably muscle and fat. Weird. I did say that was 2 years. If you think I'm lying you should've seen me before I started training. I was pretty much anorexic, lol. I mean, I was like 5'9 and 105 pounds.

Yeah, but even 10 pounds of muscle a year is good. I'm not sure body builders even pull that off.
Guess we'll never know.

I'm sure it wasn't 100% muscle obviously I gained but I know a lot of it was.

Apparently I have 13.75% body fat, which is reasonable enough. But, I have some work to do to reach my goal of around 10% body fat ;D.

How do you even measure body fat? I'm quite curious as to what mine is.

It's on the previous page.

Alright... if I'm considered an adult it's 10.27%
If I'm considered a kid it's 14.288
I'm not sure where the cut off is or how accurate it is. Either way, I've got work to do especially if it's the 14 number.
edit: It says 15 years or younger for the children... so I guess I'm the 10%. Phew.

That's 13.8 pounds of fat, which means you weigh about 121 without fat. I weigh about ten pounds more without my fat. We're the same height.
So, I have roughly 10 more pounds of muscle than you do. That officially makes you a bean pole. I say forget about your body fat for now and just work on building some muscle.

Havn't I always said I needed to work on muscle, and upper body strength? have you not seen how skinny I am in my videos? Like I said, I was REALLY skinny 2 years ago, and it's still a work in progress. Besides, you're a good 3 years older than me. I was never worried about my body fat, I just thought it'd be cool to see how much I had. Also I have a weight training class next semester where basically we just get a good 1 hour a day to ourselves to lift weights, do pushups, etc. Which is useful because it makes me HAVE to get a good workout in (or else my grade suffer) and I'll be working on the things I need to work on. Plus they have tons of equipment there which I can't use at home.

I fail to see why my age is factored in your logic. Weight training class? Um... have fun with that. Any kind of class my friends have ever taken sucked because they were forced to do specific workouts, which were never what their goals needed. Equipment? All you need is a barbell, plates and a pull-up bar!

Didn't you read my post? I said we have an hour to do WHATEVER WE WANT. Meaning I'm not be forced to do certain workouts. The reason I said that in the first place was because I KNEW you'd bring that up. But yeah, the fact that I'm graded on it gives me more of an incentive to do it... and a good hours workout a day combined with my normal training will do me some good.

I just figured you didn't know what you were talking about. My friends were all under the impression they'd be free as well. An hour of weight lifting is all the training you really need in one day, I would think. Don't overdo it because more training =/= faster results.

Oti, have you ever looked at Yuuji Urushihara? lol He is one of the skinniest guys I have ever seen, and yet he lost the Final Stage by about 2 metres (if that!).

Right now out of all the sasuke competitors I'd say my build is closest to Daisuke Miyazaki's.

Miyazaki is a beast dude. I forget which tournament it was, but he destroyed the salmon ladder so bad it made me laugh out loud. I don't think he practices rock climbing though (just to relate back to the topic lol).

How many huge, ripped guys lost on the Log Grip back in the day? Are you bigger than them too?
My point is, muscle mass does not equal strength or endurance. You're totally full of it if you look at pictures of him on Google Images and think you're that buff. Colin and I aren't that buff either, and we're way ahead of you.
