Well when that gets to easy(rock wall part), dont use your legs, let your arms do everything, that will be difficult, but thats really the only thing u can do if what your already doing is too easy. On the monkey bar thing that may be slightly dangerous (however the guy i train with always says "psh...that makes it fun") on a playground it would be difficult from the side just b/c you can really only get another part of the playground so thts extremely difficult. Well the arms only is what I already do, at least on the one part without a bottom, which is pretty much the only part I use anyways. I didn't know I trained with you! XD Well whenever I try it I bump into the wall and I end up going back before I grab any of the rocks, And I keep trying to drop from higher rocks and grab a lower one but my momentum ends up my legs hit the ground for a couple seconds which I don't think is right. Like I said, haven't tried the rock wall to Monkey Bars, sounds like one hell of a extreme version of the Spider Flip though!

Agreed. When I used to be in marching band (Don't laugh), we had to march around a giant football field for 10-15 minutes with a metal instrument at a 30 degree upward angle. And never really lower it. It's not easy. I know your pain. That's why I auditioned for the Drum Major. And, I got the job! Easiest year of Marching Band ever!

I feel your pain, Badalight.
I just stick to ledges and rafters. It works just as well.

Yeah, but then again I have very few places like that even to climb around near my house. I just like going outside to train without having to drive real far.
But I have nothing close to my house. So even things like rafters, bleachers... things like that arn't anywhere near my house.
I actually searched and it turns out there IS a rock climbing place... but it's over an hour away.
Jeez.., you'd think there'd be at least 1 close to me considering I live outside of a populated city.

If not for my garage, I wouldn't have any place to climb around me either. ._.

Me with Missouri, you with Mississippi.

Explain Maryland? Granted it's not great but I do get some training in.

You're the one who said you have no training spots around your house, no track to run on.
So it fits the stereotype in this scenario at least.
Plus it's tiny, what you got like 12 people living there? =p

Well in my house.. Not so much. Near my house.. OK.. Walking distance it starts getting good, although I found out when looking for a route this time, it doesn't start getting really interesting for about a mile.
And it turns out there is a track but it's part of the high school so I don't think I'll use it ever.

Don't forget Montana.
According to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, it's nothing but a huge parking lot with one tree and one puddle.

And you know.. MAINE. Them and their fish. They're so secluded from the rest of the country. Sucks if they want to vacation to California.

Montana was one of the pre-made levels you could go screw around in.
Personally, I liked making mazes full of traps.

I can really suggest rock climbing for everyone. I thought I had a strong grip before I went rock climbing for the first time. Haha, was so wront on that one. Climbing is really a great way of training ur grip strenght, and I haven't found any good ways to train with weights compared to climbing. Try if you can!

I think climbing is better for your grip endurance, really. Unless you make the climbs harder for your grip as you progress, you're only going to be gaining endurance. Which, of course, is useful. Just saying.
Also, if you'd like to use weights to train your grip strength, look into forearm and hand exercises.
