I want the flying chute, honestly, along with a brand new cliffhanger (equal or more difficulty than the cch).

I'm super upset that there won't be a renewal.... I hate TBS. Why does TBS hate Sasuke so much? Because TBS only care about themselves...they add boring segments featuring attention-seeking celebrities to a show where people only care about the action...f***ing c***s... I wish someone that was actually nice would air SASUKE and show as many people as possible in 4 hours. Somebody please hire me or Arsenette as editor...

You know, for as much grief as I give Inui for editing certain things (and I agree.. what he did to Sasuke 31 was atrocious) I still have to back him up for several reasons. 1. Those effing celebrities are a way for Sasuke to get ratings. People who watch ONLY those celebrities turn on the TV to watch them. When M9 was around the show had a LOT more celebrities and their ratings were tripled. 2. Celeb involvement require either money or reciprocation of some type. Most of the time the "cheaper" way of doing business (not just in Japan) is to do a collab with another show. You promote my show in yours and I'll promote your show in mine. It is a cheap way to cut corners when you have no budget. Back in the day they would pay for the better celebs without having to do reciprocation and the ratings reflected it. 3. Inui is a hired contractor. He has his own vision of the show but the people who pay his salary have full control of their show and tell him that certain things have to appear. 4. You know nothing about current events and the current state of the economic obliteration that is going on in the world. Japan's economy is in a virtual freefall right now. TBS lost most of their sponsors and the general economy at large has bigger issues that some random show that most people don't even watch if they even had TV's. The current generation (millennials) don't even OWN televisions.

The current generation (millennials) don't even OWN televisions. If anything, the freefall in Japans economy is the most worrisome issue atm. I mean lets think about it, TBS, a giant, losing most of its sponsors?? That must mean its Really bad. Back on topic, if there is no renewal, does that mean that there may be less obstacles newly made than last year?

Agreed with the economy being the #1 problem. It is worldwide too not just Japan.. though they are getting particularly hardhit thanks to some of their own internal politics that devalued their own currency. I'm not sure about if less than last year honestly. I don't follow that much on that particular subject. I think someone did an analysis on the thread a few pages back with numbers.

Sorry if this was already asked somewhere, but when is the taping? From what I've seen on Facebook, certain Americans are either in or on their way to Japan, which leads me to believe the taping is maybe this weekend?

That's not public yet and no it isn't this weekend. As for why they are going.. refer to this thread.

I posted this in another thread. So projected leave date for you is? That is not announced. LOL Last year though it was spoiled for me! When the application for the audience lottery comes up.. check out the "available dates".. LOL Only then will I mention when I'm leaving. Other than that I can't utter a word of any booking, etc. I don't want to get myself in trouble before it is public!

I know I'm a little late to the party, but my Sasuke 32 hopes and expectations are that either everyone fails the first stage or everyone achieves Kanzenseiha. There is no in-between.

I hope Kouji returns (hes my favourite competitor but I'm not holding my breath), Asa finally clears the third stage (hes overdue for a crack at the castle) and Tomo makes it to the Final Stage again. I'm expecting it to be a good tournament, since TBS took over each year has gotten better imo and hopefully that continues
EDIT: Forgot to say I'm also hoping we see a breakthrough performance from one of the younger competitors, some cool new obstacles, and I'm curious to see how Ragivaru does after a year of training

Im really hoping all the things you said happen. This year has been tough, and I need a reliever !

I hope they invite competitors with not a lot of recognition but with real potential too like Keitaro Yamamoto, Kouki Akiyama and many others.

Only one expectation: Vertical Limit Lache as the final obstacle of stage 3. You have 5 vertical limits arranged in an upside down V and they are each like 6 feet apart so you have to lache to each one.

I understand you're trying to be creative and stuff, but that would be a dreadful idea. Think about how hard the Shin Cliffhanger was with like a 5cm ledge, now imagine that length jump to a ledge 1/5 as big...we'd get a champion by Sasuke 49 with an obstacle like that

But I see how it's a crazy obstacle. I have seen people lache to vertical limits from close distances but yeah it probably is better off coming after another Kanzenseiha.

I agree with the person further up this page. We need more young breakthrough performances. You can never have too big a roster of hopefuls to shake up up Sasuke and give us amazing runs.
