About the celebrities, I don't really care unless they are the names I know (like Tomoko Kaneda or Kota Ibushi in 31 for example) Felt bad for her though, she threw me kinda surprised when she appeared on the show. Well she is married to Mori who is a former Sasuke competitor and tied to TBS through Sports Danshi. Oh,i see now. And how about some gravure girls like asuka kishi and mizuki hoshiina?

Most of those come in through the various political connections TBS as a television station has with the management companies in Japan. Many people forget that Japan is dominated by the management system and to get to an artist you have to pass first through a huge management company. For old folks like me it's likening it to the old "Hollywood" System of the 40's-50's that created a couple of studios that controlled the market. Japan is very much this way. So they go through the agencies they are connected to (usually because TBS is cross promoting a show on their network at another time) and the agency sends whoever they want to promote a product. It's all about advertising. Sasuke these days and for the majority of it's life is all wildcard entries.

To be honest, I know everyone will not be happy since that is literally impossible. Just in this thread there are opposing views so someone is going to be pissed one way or the other. LOL I'm just looking forward to show and pray that enough people are passionate enough to turn on the television to raise the ratings of this show. Otherwise it doesn't matter what is ON the show if people don't WATCH the show. If people don't watch this show, why is it still on TV? Wouldn't it be better off as an internet show???

TBS never transitions shows to the internet. I know you are new so I'll explain it. TBS has been threatening to cancel the show for a number of years. Monster 9 kept it going with decent ratings until it's demise. They were getting a LOT of money from Comcast/G4 to keep the show on the air to allow ANW to grow. Remember.. ANW's prize was Sasuke's course. Once M9 was out of the way ANW had already a footing to start it's own show and they did. Look where they are now. TBS has been trying to replicate that but failed since they don't understand the market now and think they can just copy ANW's success without spending a dime. NBC spends MILLLIONS just on advertising alone. TBS would never do that which is why it's on it's last legs. All of TBS is having this problem. Japan in general doesn't do internet shows as they think it's an easy way to pirate. They still don't understand the internet and unless something drastic changes, they never will. My personal thought is that if TBS doesn't change how they do things then Sasuke will be gone by 2-4 years. There's really nothing on TBS right now to replace it anyway and it's living off of the royalties of ANW.
