Recycling obstacles is boring, I wanna see new, innovative obstacles...not the return of the crappy Swap (NOT) Salmon Ladder. I agree, but realistically it's better than no Sasuke at all. They'll work with what they have and Inui will still probably put on a great show

Also Inui did a fan contest you should have entered it in, it did not go well... Also why would someone going through enough issues backstage waste time watching fan course videos (And lets be honest.. 90% of the obstacles in those kind of videos are AIDS...)

Well with a bit of dumbing-down involved it could become a reality... Yes it could be with a lot of dumbing down... like strengthening to actual boards instead of fan blades and removing the motor... And at that point it'd either have to be on a hinge or stationary, the hinge would be the logical version if it's supposed to be a fan and in that case the dismount would be ridiculous without some kind of alternate dismount (since obviously you can't put the platform right there for safety reasons), so yeah I guess you can make that possible... It'd probably end up looking something like this (and we know how Inui feels about obstacles from there) Seriously custom course videos are ridiculous and no one at TBS or ATS (The guys in charge of the course for ANW and many of the international spinoffs) should ever watch them...

THE ULTIMATE 32 COURSE (ALL THREE STAGES): 1) Original Salmon Ladder, leading onto... 2) Ceiling fan moving at 69,000 RPM, directly into... 2) Crazy, Psycho, Ultimate, Inferno, Pyro, Cena Cliffhanger, with a jump leading directly into... 3) Ghetto Bridge, leading into... 4) Backstream, leading into... 5) FINAL VIKING... 6) Spider Flip at the top of the Final Viking tower, with no support rope, followed directly by..... 7) All Star Gladiator Match. Six consecutive battles, with no rest, against each of the All-Stars. All mods and hacks disabled. All-Stars can use magic.

So basically there's a good chance that a Kanzenseiha may happen again in this tournament. If it's similar enough to 31's course I wouldn't be surprised if there's multiple winners.

What I'm still wondering is if Nagano'll be there. I'm guessing no, but he may have changed his mind.

I hope the budget ain't that small that they have to use cardboard to build the tower...
But seriously, does anyone know what the exact budget is (in Yen)?

As much as I wish that the budget could be higher, allowing them to be more creative and fresh with obstacles, you can bet that one of the new "areas" is gonna be a new cliffhanger, ala tradition. If that happens, ain't nobody clearing stage 3. Right now, I'm pretty sure they'll just make a CC with 2 jumps.
I'm more worried about the potentially high stage 1/2 clear rate.

If history repeats itself the First stage should be "easier" to give the appearance of anyone being able to pass.. then the 2nd stage will crush the rest (probably with an insane time or something) and any stragglers dying early in the 3rd. They never intend for anyone to get out to the 4th stage right out of the gate. It's just usually not how it's set up.

Those great minds at TBS who think alike need to come up with innovative, tough (but not too tough) obstacles that'd take even the best competitors out in Stage 2 to replace the backstream...either that or bring back the Metal Spin.

I never got people who were all '20 clears, show is ruined,' after the First Stage. That's how the show should be: stack clears early because there's no guarantee later. That's how you get new stars; unassuming people getting through and breaking expectations and getting invites to the next tournament so they don't risk being lost in the audition shuffle. Sure, digests and cuts of clears are a pain, but that's the unfortunate circumstances of editing.

I mean if Shingo can have a resurgence so can Nagano! I'm all for another go at it as long as he has fun!

I want the Body Prop. IMO one of the hardest obstacles in Sasuke history, and if ANW is anything to go by it still holds up today. I remember Morimoto saying he didn't want it, but it's a renewal that HE caused lol I want the Body Prop because I train on it in my school hallways! {Spoiler} Eyyyyy eyyyyy...!!!!
