No... the steel ladder WAS the original one.. they changed it for this one instead for 22. That I know for sure.

its a good final stage i just think the time should be 30 seconds thats hard enough enough, 45 is generous.
I like the new circle hammer its a bit more interesting than the pole maze, the slider jump thing I was amazed how many people it took out, the distance from the end of the track to the net is not even that far.

I'm not arguing that there wasn't a steel ladder previously.
I'm simply saying it wasn't *that* steel ladder.

I'm sorry about what I kept saying regarding the final stage. I was wrong. There IS a ladder.
I think I said I would do that if I were wrong.

Yes, I believe that was Olivia. Hammered not only before and after, but during as well!

The circle hammer looks waaay easy. Definately easier than the pole maze, and less of a time waster.
On the other hand, that stick slider looks harder than I expected. I didn't realize how far away the cargo net was, and I didn't know the cargo net itself would be such a time waster.
I thought it was you know, a net, not a replica of the old jump hang net. That thing is purely a time waster...
I love it though, the flying chute was one of my favorite obstacles in the new tourney, and I love that a good obstacle replaced it. Makes up for it being gone.
The flying chute took out Nagano, Shunsuke, Shingo, and Bunpei eh?
The stick slider took out Nagano, Levi, PAT, and many more.
Both are evil obstacles... But overall I thikn I'd do better on this frst stage than the last, if only because the flying chute was an obstacle that I had very little chance of completeing, and this thing at least looks somewhat completeable.
Final stage is a wimp. It was crapping it's pants when Yuuji passed Stage 3. Finally had to wake up to kick some more a**.

I think you mean the producers were nervous they were 2 seconds away from paying out 4 million Yen and having to rethink the course again lol.

I'd say more like .5 seconds. The Final Stage reminds me of Knoichi 3, where 4 people made it to the Final Stage and all of them were extremely close, next tourney Miyake wins.

If you do Circle Slider right, it isn't going to affect you.
But seeing some runs, if you get pass the platform first time around, you waste your tim e a lot.

Im on the same page as Sr Wilson, its a difficult final stage....if u lower the time limit, were still underestimating the rope, they've made it tougher to climb i believe, idk how good/bad Yuji is at rope clmbing, but the final stage isnt a pushover, they'll work with the time though.

Yuji was agile and fast in clearing obstacles. I am not surprised he could reach the rope with 30 seconds to spare. Though Nagano has better rope climbing technique, he wouldn't be as fast as Yuji on the ladder. So give and take, both will be close but by saying Nagano would easily win the Final Stage if he was there is a bit over optimistic.

For the First Stage obstacles, I think they are perfect and this new First Stage is better (and more exciting) than the one of previous tournaments. The Circle Hammer is a time waster, but thats ok for a second obstacle, and the Slider Jump is insane, which is perfect for the last obstacle. So for me, I think the First Stage is perfect.
For the Final Stage, like everyone has said, the time is too generous. Change to 30 seconds = harder Final Stage yet, in my opinion.
