Rider, since to our knowledge they didn't do a profile on you, I doubt your full run will be shown, but I think you have a pretty solid chance of making it on the digest.

They seemed interested in the St Louis walk ons, They did get some footage of me in that little training ground we set up but they were getting a bunch of us there. I got one of those camera on you interview things and I'm not sure how common those are (Think what Travis Weinand got after his FF in Venice type interview). I don't know I'm being kind of optimistic here that I might get shown because the other competitors started cheering and the crowd got involved and went crazy

They got a lot of footage of the Dallas walk-ons, too, but then only showed maybe one or two of us running. I don't think we got much more than that on flash-forwards, either. My oldest girl is now very, very upset with NBC.

This does not inspire confidence... But I'm hoping I get shown because of the huge live response aside from having the uniqueness of a night run with sunglasses as well as my badass start line trench coat thing. But I don't know...

Rider, I hope to see you on! NBC seems to be very random about this. Last year they did a couple of interviews with me and they had me send them a ton of pictures and extra videos to create my "profile". I thought they would show my run for sure, but no luck. It may be because I didn't do very well (fell on the cliff bridge) but who knows. They showed a 1.2 second clip on G4 of me falling in the water with no name or anything, just a random fall lol.
I will be watching for you bro!
PS. I may or may not already know how you did....

They ripped the viewers off on a ton of good runs... I wanted to rewatch the Wilczewski brothers as well as Needham's run. Definitely wanted to rewatch Elet Hall successfully jumping to the platform from the start of the second ladder...
On a related note... Long shot here but did anyone happen to get any sideline footage of my run? All I've found was a little instagram video that only showed a few seconds and all that had of me was a couple of oddly cut seconds of the first two steps and the bridge of blades. Does anyone have a copy they could possibly hook me up with for personal review and for my entry video next year?

Saint Louis had 25 complete the course most so far. Nice to see some runs and yes it sucked to not show some of full runs that completed

Yes he did, he failed the Rolling Log (made it to the mat and slid back down into the water). This is what I mean about the terrible editing

Rider, was I mistaken or did I see you at the staring line for 2 seconds? I could only watch halfheartedly because I was chasing around my 2 year old! How did you do? What was the "crux" for you? I always like to hear the perspective of the individual competitor.

I didn't catch myself on the start line, if you saw someone in a trench coat I missed it was me but my run was not aired. I failed the Bridge of Blades, the last upwards knocked me off. I'll elaborate later

I just caught a glimpse of someone with black face paint. I thought it might be you but I wasn't sure. No trench coat though.

I saw plenty of people touch the bridge of blades with their hands. Just saying.
