Maybe he might NOT compete anymore. I think he thinks he's TOO old to compete even though we saw Mr. Octopus at 65 last time! Heck, he didn't compete in 28!

If there are four more obstacle for the stage, then I'm assuming Stage 1 for 29 is 1. Long Jump 2. Log Grip 3. Hedgehog 4. Jump Hang Kai 5. Ni Ren Soritatsu Kabe 6. Tarzan Jump 7. Rope Ladder So this is the first stage for sure? Are you guys sure there's 2 walls because I only saw one in the pics so far

p.twpl.jp/show/orig/92XWIYou can see the end of the first wall and sideways drop to realign things clearly as well as somewhat able to see the pole

Long Jump Log Grip Hedgehog Jump Hang Kai 2 warped walls and a rope ladder with more than likely a lenient time limit? Thats a joke. If that was the American course we'd get 75 clears out of 100.

Remember what we thought about time limits going into 28? look what happened there Yea the best competitor cleared with over 20 seconds left. The others who cleared have previously struggled on stage 1 minus Kanno. Regardless that course was easy if you didn't struggle on the RE or fail the spin bridge. Nagano would have cleared with 10 seconds remaining had he got the wall in his 1st go. I believe the field for that tournament was weaker than usual and a lot of guys choked. But they still go and make stage 1 easier because of the low clear rate. I hate it. If nobody makes stage 3 this time, they'll nerf that too. They'll be handing Yuuji a 3rd Kanzenseiha and I won't be impressed.

Probably the time limits would be: Stage 1: 95.0 Stage 2: 105.0 Final Stage: 30.0

Also, I think the course will be EASIER than 28 because SASUKE is no longer the biggest event. I'm pretty sure if SASUKE was at its standard difficulty, the ASEAN cup would be something only Chuck Norris could probably do!

ASEAN cup should not be completed on its 1st tourney anyway.

This applies for when the last time someone achieved Kanzenseiha. How does it apply now? Not sure....

Psst, UC made that directly after RISING aired after our last obstacle topic where everone thought stage 1 had a high limit when it was found from a sideline shot of the NRSK

Time limit still was too high last time. And they went and made stage 1 easier. The 2 toughest obstacles gone for a log grip and a mechanical spinning obstacle that u can hold the barks of...

Stage 1, while it should retain a modicum of difficulty (which every stage one has), has generally always been the easiest stage and it should be. Even at its easiest just based on clears, 37% of 100 cleared Stage 1. If we're going to judge a stage based on how the ideal 100 competitor list would do on the course, then we might as well stop watching. We've already been proven wrong that even with the one of the weaker lineups, 28's stage 1 was deceptively hard, and it's not like most people know how to not mess up a long jump.

I understand they want the celebrities to clear and only 6 people passed last time but when a stage is so easy that a high amount of competitors can walk through it, it's too easy. A decent field at 28 would have had 10+ clears easily but they respond the bad result by eliminating the 2 toughest obstacles and replacing them with crap. I'm a 200+ pound man and I'd bet I can clear those 3 obstacles. After a victory the course should get harder not easier. That's my complaint. I know the majority of competitors will likely fail stage 2 any way and stage 3 is arguably the toughest it has ever been even though there are only 6 obstacles now, but I guess I just don't want to see Yuuji win again.

but I guess I just don't want to see Yuuji win again. That's your entire argument. It's obvious you hate Yuuji. If the show was so damn easy we'd have double digit winners. End of story.

I mean, 10 winners out of 2900 attempts over 16 years is pretty damn impressive, right?
