Obstacle talk is going to clog up the other threads. Feel free to clog up this thread instead.

We know that the Second Stage is the same and the Third Stage is at least half the same. Also, the Final Stage is Spider Climb + Rope Climb so that should cut down on a lot of speculation.
As for actual speculation...
I think I see the Dancing Stones (from KUNOICHI) as the first obstacle. That might also be the Log Grip 2nd as well.

From a pic I saw in the Pictures/Recording thread, it looks like they're back to 1 warped wall

And the original Wall Lift seems to be back.

I really don't like the inconsistency of obstacles nowadays. They keep changing the mats too and it seems like every tournament now randomly brings back old obstacles/new obstacles and takes them out the next tournament.

Instead of having the same obstacles everytime they change it up a bit. I like it. It keeps competitors on their toes.

And the original Wall Lift seems to be back. On the contrary, it seems to me that the Passing Wall has returned.

Pictures thread confirmed Passing Wall, wall 2 had the sideways supports I couldn't possibly see where you see either. I see no buyoishi but I can see what he thought was the log grip, but it looks thinner... I actually think it's ANW Miami's "Utility Pole Slider" witthout handlebars on it. Also, loving the black/red mixed mats EDIT: Passing Wall was confirmed by this pic pbs.twimg.com/media/BLo7zp5CMAMECE-.jpg:large

I DEFINITELY saw some red mats but NO black mats! Also, I think they're gonna start to mock the Midoriyama of Vegas (w/Mixed Color Mats/VERY Lit Up Stages)!

look at the pic rc linked and zoom in by the pole slider, red mats with black outside of them
And they do seem to be copying vegas midoriyama lights, but what do you mean by multi colored mats? they were all red in stage 1 in vegas aside from parts of obstacles (notably the landing slope of the giant swing and the steps) not counting padded sections

So after the start line there's a step down to another flat platform, instead of the usual angled ramp to the first obstacle after the start line. New 1st obstacle maybe?

It's possible (and I hope so) but that doesn't mean new obstacle, a step down preceded the godantobi in 8 (granted that was for a new obstacle at the time )

I sure hope they spread the equalizers out instead of concentrating them near the beginning.

Awesome! Thanks for the article. It says the Long Jump is 4.5 m which is about 14.8 ft. Also, I wonder how the Log Grip is going to be now with the bars instead of holes. Last that Hedgehog obstacle looks straight out of a video game. I assume that it spins slowly?

That one didn't roll that slowly but the Hedgehog could be something entirely different.
