But why type 8 characters when you could just type 1? Honestly, speaking in type faces, the sarcmark is actually really cool.

I do better when in a competition, for whatever reason.

I'm old school. Easier =/= better. It depends on the pressure for me, I think. Low pressure against a few people is fine, but high pressure situations apparently screw me over *points to NF4*.

Do we have proof of this? Real, concrete evidence? I believe it's G4's fault as well, but that doesn't mean it's true. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not all-knowing. Is it really a surprise? There are easily more casual watchers than hardcore Sasuke fans. And all this hate on Neil... it's kind of unfair. Television networks aren't exactly dictatorships. I'm sure he's not the only one to blame for this crap. He should get his fair share of hate, yeah, but all of it? Having been in the biz in the 1990's behind the scenes at corporate I can say a LOT falls on the President. He/She sets the agenda in what direction the show should fall. ALL programming decisions start at the top and trickle their way down. So, for example anyone remember the debacle back when Farscape was cut in favor of more shows that had to do with the paranormal? They preempted and cancelled all shows that had to do with Sci Fi and changed everything to paranormal and horror since the new Pres at the time thought it would be a good idea. The network almost fell off the face of the Earth.. not only did they cancel and lose the highest rated cable show of all time.. they lost a crapload of fans in the process with the changeover to a different format. They ultimately fired the President and brought back what made SciFi.. uhm.. SciFi.. a little too late for Farscape but the network still exists now thanks to shows like Stargate and BattleStar Galactica, etc. etc. In network TV (which is what I dealt with for 5 years) they decide what is on the air. They buy the shows for the season and decide what is going to be on your TV. While the individual programming is controlled by the distributor (though in house stuff like ANW/NW would be controlled by it's producer in G4 who's getting their instruction from the Pres) everything that is chosen starts with the vision of the President. So when reports come out on how each of the shows is performing (most companies like NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX all get their reports based on ratings while G4 has a completely different set of parameters because they are subsidized and controlled by Comcast as an internal network) the President decides if the show continues or not in order to preserve the direction of the network as a whole. So if a show is not performing to internal parameters (i.e. the want a rise in demographic or they want to be above a certain rating for an extended period of time) they adjust accordingly by preempting, rescheduling or cancellation.

The more I think about it, the more I think G4 will treat Solitary like crap. Elsie saying multiple times they'll screw over a show if they dont get the demo they want, Solitary automatically becomes a threat, because there's just as many 18-34 women who watch the show, maybe even more. Especially since (IDK about Season 4 -- I have the episode which could help my argument, but I'll watch that later, just look up this season's more recent episode but preferably don't spoil please) in seasons 1-3, the final three has been two guys and a girl and subsequently 3rd place has gone to the female. There are plenty of women who watch a reality show like this just to support the women. And seeing a woman just nearly outdo one of the guys in a "treatment" (the "elimination" challenges) each time can boost ratings. IDK who made the final two this time (but I'll know it soon) but if the lone female left makes the final 2, there could be an increase in ratings in the women demographic. And since G4 doesn't like that to happen, they might kill off the show for something as trivial as that.
We'll never know for sure 100% until G4 picks up the show, but who's to say they'll listen and pick it up?
