Yeah, globe grasp really has a lot of harder options that werent ever tried. Maybe chain it up with the cliff hanger?

I think the safest obstacles are the cliffhanger and salmon ladder. No way they are going anywhere IMO, both are revered as some of the most feared obstacles ever, but I hope they modify the salmon ladder, I want 4 or 5 jumps in a row that are all 18in gaps. Cliffhanger either it will be a larger gap or 2 gaps just like the current one(that would be so much fun!). I hope they bring in a body prop that looks like a helix, going from 45 degrees upwards to 45 downwards or more. I think for other obstacles that stay like jumping spider and any rope style obstacles should be combined. Like putting put a trampoline jump to a midair rope grab, the rope swings tarzan style to the spider climb. That sounds like a perfect upgrade to the jumping spider to me. If they want to be cruel they should make the cliffhanger part of a series of obstacles as well, but thats kind of a cheap way to make that stage harder without changing much.

I have a pretty good idea. What about a salmon ladder right into slider jump? On the last rung you just go right to slider jump.

Upgraded salmon ladder to slider jump would be a welcome addition if you ask me, move that combo to the 2nd course and put something else in the first. Ive been thinking about an obstacle that is two ledges going straight up, imagine the left and right sides of a door frame, but the same demensions as the cliffhanger ledge, 3cm wide, and you have to grip only them to climb upwards to a platform maybe 10 or 12 feet up.

Ya pretty close to that, I've seen him do that before and remember thinking it was close, but my idea was only to use your arms. The ledges would be positioned closer than he was grabbing, and be only on left and right like the walls on the salmon ladder that the rungs are attached to so your body can dangle in between them freely. I was going to build this obstacle but I do not have anywhere to build it unless I build the walls to support it as well so I never got around to it.
