I honestly think that they should've kept the original Ascending climb the way it was, cause even though Hang Climbing is tough enough, only 1 person has failed it so far. It would be pretty cool to see the original obstacle back since the rocks were colored, smaller, and further spread out, therefore requiring different strategy to the obstacle.
As for being able to use your feet on the obstacle, from what I read on the Sasuke wiki, Levi said that you couldn't use your feet on the original ascending climb, which I think is ridiculous.
What do you guys think? Should the obstacle be brought back, and if it ever was, should people be allowed to use their feet on it?

Those people make me sad, removing obstacles before we ever see them demonstrated.

I think the rocks were just a bit too sparse. Somewhere in the middle would be perfect seeing as the current version isn't causing too many problems.

Those people make me sad, removing obstacles before we ever see them demonstrated. There's only been 2 obstacles that have never been demonstrated cause no one got to it, which are the Sky Walk and the Ascending Climb. Am I right on that or did I miss something?

Maybe the "Final" Ring and perhaps the original final stage (It's something I know nothing about but read here long ago that it was different pre-22.)

I think they should bring back the Ascending Climb but let the competitors use their feet This would seem pretty good in comparison to the rest of Stage 3 IMO. After all, the original version of Hang Climbing (which I think was called the Sending Climber) appeared to be tough enough without using feet, so allowing this if they brought it back seems fair. Otherwise, Takeda would be in serious trouble, especially after seeing him fail Hang Climbing in Sasuke 21 and struggling on it in Sasuke 23. Also, I'd really like to see them bring back the other "untried" obstacles (Sky Walk especially) in Sasuke 24. Just my opinion.

Keep in mind that not all obstacles in the Third Stage are meant to be failed. A lot are just stamina drainers. Basically the three main obstacles in Stage Three are the SCH, the Spider Flip, and the Ring.

I had to get these, imagining the two in my head just wasn't cutting it. This Hang Climb from 22 in HQ. Even though it debuted in 21, this one was see through Plexiglas, therefore the most in common. Here is a pic of the ascending climb... yeah, it's a little dirty, you know. a juvenile shoved it up its a**.

That's a big gap rider, it'd be easier to use the ones on the right side only.

Please, I'd love to see some footage of anyone rock climbing like that before they dismiss it as "not that hard"... every freaking obstacle on the course is "not that hard" great...
I'm sorry but saying that and "calling" everything is getting very played out and very annoying :/

Nicely said, Scnoi.
Honestly, it looks to be a little tricky by itself. Factor in how tired most people are by that point and it's downright hard.
