Actually the crew is a hell of a lot bigger than that Unless this came up in an interview I didn't read, I find it hard to believe that the behind the scenes staff outnumbered the players in the last Sasuke. That's one of the reasons why there's an age requirement--so G4 doesn't have to bring 83 chaperones. Also, since the traveling party is so big, you have to wonder at what point going by commercial Airbus is no longer reasonable and you punt for a private jet instead. I'm sure one of the veterans could fill us in.

Well these guys went around Japan with Levi - www.takasui.co.jp/main/sasuke/kinkyo19.html I figure at least they went to Sasuke.. so that would actually make them more than each competitor. Remember also that they are producing their own show within Sasuke.

Not a fan that they changed the dates... I already jumped through hoops requesting dates off... Gotta do it again now. Sorry Arsenette, you already knew about the dates I spoke to Brian Orosco yesterday... he's not gonna be happy about the date change...

IF the competitors are competing in a Sasuke-style course, then only the top competitors will go through. So I would doubt that you would have any joke competitors from G4 going. Of course, things seem to change or get twisted around on here on a daily basis so you never know what is going to happen. But I agree with earlier comments about TBS/M9 cutting a lot of the G4 participants' footage anyways.

Just thought I'd let everyone know. Overheard Luci talking a couple of days ago, and she mentioned that even Levi is going to have to participate in ANW if he wants to go.

He still may go if the course is gonna be based off Parkour since G4 thinks by now that Parkour is the wayyy to go

Ok good, I was a little bit concerned that Levi was getting a free pass but David wasn't.
Wow, I'm actually liking this competition a lot this time around. I mean, if it was actually a lot more organized and if they could give us info better I'd say this ANC would be one of the best so far.
Hopefully the actualy course itself isn't a dissaointment.

I agree. This is starting to make a little bit of sense. At least there are no free spots (hopefully, with Kevin probably being the exception ). This definitely has the potential to be the best ANC so far...although, that's not saying too much. Anyway, about Levi. If the course is about SASUKE obstacles and it is a trial of some sort, it would be hard to bet against him as he's extremely fast. I mean, look at ANC2. He destroyed everyone and all of the people he beat were pretty strong.

Guys have to remember something.. this is for a taping of a show. They have final rights as to who gets to go. Could be a combination of what actually happened on the course and what they deem to be a perfect contestant.. this is a G4 show afterall.

Yea i think since Levi has to work for his spot he'll be better prepared for the real course and be less likely to make mental mistakes as he's done in the last competitions.

Good, as he should have to qualify just like everyone else. We;ll wait and see how this pans out though...I remain very skeptical.

Yeah there were a ton of crew, 3 or 4 producers, a few camera people a couple sound guys makup people yada yada, we had 2 busses, though the busser weren't very full.

It'll be interesting to see how this will work, whether it's more akin to the US Swim Team qualifiers (top X get in for each race) or the US Gymnastics Team qualifiers (judges pick).
I know that if it's the latter, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone will b**** because a certain someone will make it without question. Granted, I think everyone would b**** about a subjective tournament anyway, but this would just be extra fuel.
