Nice job on your guys runs is always fun to watch and I admire the skills you guys have in tackling a course like that and the training that goes into preparing yourself for the course.

By the way, does anyone know if Isaac Caldiero ran this year? I know he ran in Denver last year. He had the most amazing save on the cargo net last year that dudes grip strength is crazy. Man I thought he was going to make stage three then his shoe slipped on the spider wall he would be fun to watch on stage three.

No worries bob I found it easier to go to the formating first.. copy THAT and then on the next message copy and paste that into the format section. Otherwise you get some weird block issues. Also reading this.. I'm so glad I don't watch NBC.. LOL I feel bad for the competitors who have to put up with this crap. Trust me. Whatever your beef is with NBC your missing a revolution of skill. There’s a reason why Team USA put Team Japan to bed last year. The level of talent is so high in ANW If I'm remembering it correctly, it looks like a combination of the Globe Grasper and the Jump Hang. You grab onto one pair, swing, jump to the next pair, then jump to the cargo net. Then go under, slip, and touch the water before you could possibly recover because the NET IS TOO LOW! Sorry, still annoyed about that. damn mang! how? HOW? Devils stairs and a nun chuck obstacle in the same course? who thinks these courses are fair? thats the equivalent of a low net for me. so ridiculous and it cant happen!!!!! The Low net was crazy and making them go under instead of having the under or over options like they have done in years past. Then again they had the easiest 5th obstacle in the Curtain slide I like the obstacle but like I said before as the 5th one it was a joke compared to the other regionals.

it’s got progressively easier since the season started. Monkey peg < ring toss < tilting bars < curtain slider But in those select few frames (David Campbell & few others have done it) when the athlete walks away from the warped wall you can see the finals course in the background, they look super intense!!!! And on the preview for Denver that new nun chuck looking obstacle looked harder than any obstacle so far. I missed the Chuck obstacle on the preview is it the flying Nun chuck or something different this time

I agree 42 clears is way too many, but that just means it will likely be a blood bath in the finals. The Jump Hang was a joke in my opinion... the net was way too close and being forced to climb under was just annoying. Looking forward to Denver. I like the flying sheets but not as the 5th obstacle compared to the rest of the regionals and what they had. I think that also was why they had 42 clears.

LOL! I just watched this on my DVR. The entire preview for next weeks episode is me! So epic! Wait that really is you?! My land I had no idea you were given just 2 days... Glad you recovered! Oh and yeah WHY must they climb under it... In Japan you decide! They have in years past in other qualifying's which is why it makes no sense to change it now

Wow flip going down like he did and was Miami to easy 42 completes the curtain slide as the 5th obstacle is weak compared to the Monkey Pegs, Rings and tilting ladder they tax the upper body way more.
Felt bad for the guy on the warped wall the walk on older father he popped his Achilles that is a brutal injury takes a while to recover

I know the editing has not been great I still stand by the fact that it was better than years past because the profiles are shorter. We get to see more runs then years past but we should see every clear IMO

I didn't catch myself on the start line, if you saw someone in a trench coat I missed it was me but my run was not aired. I failed the Bridge of Blades, the last upwards knocked me off. I'll elaborate later You will get it next year

Saint Louis had 25 complete the course most so far. Nice to see some runs and yes it sucked to not show some of full runs that completed

True, but it's extremely rare for a non-semifinalist to get a spot. As far as I remember, the only exceptions to that were all the female wildcards except for Jessie Graff and Kelvin Antoine. At the same time, they passed over Brian Orosco, despite him not only having made it as far as Brent, but being the only ANW contestant to have made it to the finals of every ANW up to that point. If he didn't get a wildcard spot, it's far from guaranteed that Brent will. In my opinion the wildcards are always going to be who will draw the most viewers in their eyes. Both men and women want to see women run the course. We all like to root for the older guys like Kelvin, and then there's the fan favorites who have history but maybe didn't make it in qualifiers. I honestly have no idea who any of the wild cards are, but if they have the full 25 to hand out I would bet a lot of money on Brent being on of them. He is popular and NBC has done their best to make him Mr. ANW so I can't see them abandoning him. Maybe if Brian Arnold does really well again this year, or if someone actually wins, then they might say "Brent who?" and latch on to the next best thing lol. From my point of view Brian Arnold is the guy I think most likely to get to stage four and my new favorite. Brent was the first American to get past the ultimate cliff hangar but I am not sure he has the climbing skills to get past the Hang Climb

Brent looked off tonight not sure if it was nerves or something else. The rings took out a lot of people tonight that was sure. It was cool to see the Dallas youth pastor come back after walking on two years ago and clear the course But he has competed so many times before so I'm not sure if nerves would be the answer. He looked bad last year in regional finals and midoriyama. Looked amazing at USA vs JAPAN. Then got tripped up on a new obstacle this year but its not even a super difficult new obstacle. Maybe it was just the adrenaline dump of being back out on the course in front of the cameras? Who knows? Was my thought process as well but we seen it before guys struggle for what ever reason then bounce back not sure what was going on. The ring grasp looked no worse than the monkey pegs not sure why he struggled with the obstacle.

Shocked at Brent's fall... even more shocked by the reality that Kacy legitimately did better than him. Brent looked off tonight not sure if it was nerves or something else. The rings took out a lot of people tonight that was sure. It was cool to see the Dallas youth pastor come back after walking on two years ago and clear the course

Does anyone else hate the Slack Ladder from a TV point of view... slowest obstacle ever in (A)NW history... To many people took it way to slow be careful not to fall since they where not aloud to touch it with their hands. To answer the question yes it drug out a few times

Quick question what has happened to Brian Orosco he has gone out early twice now this is a guy that made it to stage 3 in Japan. Has he just slipped some not sure but him going out on the escargo was a surprise and last year on the Cargo net.
