Please keep ALL discussion for these episodes in their respective threads. (Please note that the Monday, June 16 ANW airing is actually going to be preempted by the Stanley Cup Playoffs.)Monday, June 16, 2014 - NBC Network9:00 PM - S06, E04 - Miami QualifyingDescription: A qualifying round in Miami featuring the Dancing Stones, the Downhill Pipe Drop and the Mine Field. Contestants include wakeboard champions Rusty Malinoski and Shaun Murray; Olympians Fabien Lefevre and Preston Griffall; and former Las Vegas finalists Joyce Shahboz, Drew Drechsel and David "Flip" Rodriguez. Going to be using TV Guide and winging it to get the correct dates. This is Qualifying from Miami, Florida on NBC. Please keep this specific episode on this thread only. Don't bring up other regionals into discussion here. Keep that on those threads. REMINDER: There are people who did not read the respective spoiler threads from when the competition was taped.. please do not include information from that thread here. Stick to the episode shown. Last reminders of course that all of this thread is a spoiler thread for what is shown on official broadcasts.

If the Kings win tomorrow night, will they still preempt ANW?
EDIT: Once again, the NBC description means absolutely nothing, as the Mine Field is in the city finals course.

I've seen show schedules get changed around sporting events like this in the past. Usually if they finish early they still don't air the new shows on the remaining days, and instead fill the slots with reruns of something. My guess is it may have to do with advertisers or marketing the new episode. So yeah, I would think the 23rd is set in stone.

The TV Guide description has been listing one City Finals obstacle despite these being qualifying episodes... Venice mentioned Cannonball Alley, Dallas mentioned Swinging Frames and St Louis mentioned Crazy Cliffhanger so I'm not sure what's surprising about the Minefield being mentioned here

Looks like they are going to show Miami this Monday after all. All week the web site had been saying June 23rd and they haven't done any local marketing that I know of due to the schedule and probably being in Vegas. That's why I figured the 23rd was a lock no matter what, but now the web site pulled a "just kidding it's this Monday now."

Hmm they haven't changed on the TV Guide either. On the TV Guide they have ANW (with no description) on that slot (and that hasn't moved, even with the Stanley Cup Finals - which btw ended last night) so I'll keep it like this until Monday and just change the date on top. Unless something changes. Let me know if it does.

My DirecTV just updated to add ANW to the lineup on Monday but similarly there's no description.

NBC has officially advertised a new episode for tomorrow, so yes, there will be a new episode tomorrow.

Nuts. I haven't recorded Dallas or St. Louis onto a DVD yet (I was expecting the preemption so I didn't record)
AUGH.

I'm working 3:30-7:30 so I don't have time. I have enough room on the tape for a 3rd episode though. Also, it's just a collection (I have ANW1-5 on DVD), I'm not selling it. Just wanted to clarify.

Anyone else annoyed that Matt only said, "finally got up the Warped Wall in 5 years of competing" and not the fact that Brett made it to Japan twice?!

The fact is Takeda even slapped his back for encouragement. That HAS to mean SOMETHING. Just glad that he's back and finally conquered his nemesis.
