Okay, so I'm looking for a good trail running shoe with good traction and a bit of cushion for jumping down off of things...as I plan to use them for my parkour training as well as obstacle training. I was looking at the La Sportiva Wildcat or the Scarpa Epic. Does anyone have any experience with either or an alternative suggestion...I'm trying to keep these under $120 since I'm going to probably be extremely rough on them in training. EDIT: Nevermind, after talking with some friends of mine and researching online, I decided to grab a pair of La Sportiva Fireblades from Zappos. I figured worst comes to worst, I can always return them thanks to Zappos' crazy/awesome return policy. -Nick Ya know I always wanted to try on shoes like that. I'm stuck with slick slide on leather shoes, but I can run in them just fine. EDIT:My name's Nick too lol.

Something funny: Image from: verydemotivational.memebase.com/2011/04/12/demotivational-posters-they-all-said-he-was-crazy/(Note: The pair in the image are counterfeit/imitations/fakes as Vibram doesn't offer that color scheme anywhere in the world; Vibram logos printed on the top of the shoe behind the toes are almost always in yellow and not black like in the image, unless that part of the shoe is also yellow like the upcoming KomodoSport, in which case it's printed in white. The More You Know.)

Shop around for a cheap running shoe in which you can still feel the ground.

What do you consider cheap and what do you need the padding to accomplish for you? Do you want to absorb shock from high falls/jumps or do you just want to even out the pressure over your foot to make thinks generally more comfortable? -Nick
