Did I just hear that right? They made the circles two f***ing sizes on the circuit board? Why would they do that? That just makes it unnecessarily complicated and more linear. I really like the concept of the circuit board but it be better if they where the same size make it more interesting

Can't beleive they FF'ed Craver, especially since he was one of 2 Atlanta dudes to finish Stage 2. Same with the Yuri Force dude (but double cuts instead), especially passing up Akbar's chance to say use the force Yuri. Apparently they're bringing On the Bubble back, thought it was gone forever. I called that Akbar was gonna call him Mean Joe Greene, and I was not disappointed. Sucks to see Reko get a 24B4, then get digested anyways. However, incredible seeing The Beast outstrength Drew, if Drew can finish Stage 3 in USA vs the World it makes me wonder what James could do there. Finally, COWMAN NO. I like the cowman a lot ! what was funny you could here him say I flat out choked. Hopefully next year he makes it to vegas Drew could have beat McGraths time but he took his time to shake out his arms and Drew was the the best run he destoryed the clackers in silky smooth fashion. The last time McGrath was on stage three he fell at the floating boards I think that was ANW 5 where Brian Arnold made it to the flying bars. (I like the beast a lot but grip strength is my concern with him) Cool to see Bret Sims hit the final buzzer I also noticed that alot of the contestants looked gased once they reached the warrped wall with the course changes and they struggled mightly.

Stage 2 is the hardest stage 2 ever atm. Hopefully they change some stuff we will be lucky to see 1 finisher on it. Last thing they need is another ANW 4 with only one person on stage 3. What was crazy is they had 24 stage 1 clears that year what is crazy is 2 obstacle took out the majority of the competiors Double Salmon Ladder 8 Unstable Bridge 6 Balance Tank 4 Slider Drop 3 Metal Spin 2 Weird is the two obstacles are staples of ANW for years

Preview mostly featuring The Wedge. Apparently, their original design was deemed nearly impossible so they chose one with a 50% failure rate in testing. ...gonna stock up on Lacrosse balls. I have a bunch oh wait that is because I played club Lacrosse in college. I wonder what brand they used.

Did not like the donut slowed it way down where speed and light feet nattered every where else. The rookies did not bother me or the fast forwards we will see thoe guys in the next round

1 hour an 50 minutes without mentioning Kacy Catanzaro. Is that a record? ill let thatoneuser be the official word on that, but it's actually amazing that they did not even one time try to promote her as the savior of ANW Maybe they are waking up to the fact her run in Dallas two years ago was a fluke and that at 5' & 98lbs it is hard to um complete a course. I have nothing against her she had a great run in Dallas and I Like Kacey but the fact of the matter is she is 5' tall and the obstacles are built for bigger people because americans are taller in general espically the men so short people have a disadvantage on certian obstacle in ANW. Their are some exception like ones that have long wing spawns for their size etc. That is why I think Jessie is the best of the women she is a beast and on top of that she has height and wingspan to go with that skill set. Megan has the upper body stregth but she is slow and lacks the height and her wingspan is not as long. I hoping some of these new women can up their game next year from this Philly Region. 4 in the top 30 is impressive and shows you they have legit skill because that was a tough course; question is can they take that and build on it next year.

Irrelevant. It's a TV show. They're bringing in people to drive up ratings. This is why we've seen David no-called and Ian Dory and Brian Arnold digested. Side note: I heard a rumbling that they hired a new casting team this year, almost all of whom have never seen ANW before. So... yeah. That actually makes a lot of sense. All of the big competitors not accepted were all mainly digested or not talked about, so the inexperienced casting team would have no clue who they were. For example, apparently Brian Wilchezki's submission video wasn't that good, and he didn't have the time to fix it. So the casting team probably skimmed the episodes a bit, and not seeing him, because he was digested 4 times, they wouldn't have known he was a good competitor. So basing on his video alone, they didn't accept him. I wouldn't be shocked if that was the case. I expected some of the guys that where digested that finish will have their profiles in the Finals because they generaly move on most years. I think it would be a really hard job to determine who gets in and who does not as more and more people are applying for the show every year and hundreds stand in the walk on lines it is crazy and we are seeing more and more competitors that are skilled and move on as a rookie or do while first time on the course Able was one he made stage 2 and stage 3 his first two years. There are probaly a lot of people deserving of a chance from the walk online to submissions and only so many spots.

One of my favorite parts of last night's episode was how they actually called Geoff "The First American Ninja Warrior" more than once. Gave me warm fuzzies in my heart. I like when they where interviwing Geoff after the run and he said you can ask them to take out the 5th obstacle

Wonder what happened to him... did the money blinded him or something? Yeah i thought he was a nice guy at first... just surprised to hear this from the guy geoff himself. I always thought he came off as a little aloof. I knew he was super talented an always tought he would clear stage three and could make parts of it look easy like he did. I will say I enjoyed watching the runs onstage three; it just sad the guy went off the deep end but I am not as shocked for some reason. Oh while we still have the First American Ninja Warrior and he is still cool.

Help me out here who is Paul Hamm I have no clue and why people are up in arms about his run. I'm officially old when people don't know who Paul Hamm is.. As a Gymnastics and Olympic nut it's inconceivable that people wouldn't know an Olympic Champ. I'm going to cry in a corner now.. To be quite honest I have not watch the olympics or followed any of it really since like 1996. I mean the only reason I know the name who Michaels Phelps is they have plaster his face on TV for like 12 years now and had tons of articles about him. I talk about being old I still remember when Marry Lou stuck her landing for the gold

On the runs tonight this was a very strong group of females tonight 4 made it to the 5th obstacle. Shock of the night Able going out at the paddle boards he has been a strong competitor the last few seasons had a lot of exit this year by some very good competitors. The 64 year old was pretty darn nimble for an old guy.

Extremely disappointed that Paul Hamm wasn't shown at all, especially after featuring him in the promos. It's like they used him to build off the Olympic hype going on, especially with both Men's and Women's gymnastics trials this past weekend, but decided to pull a switcheroo. They easily could've made room for him. For example - Take one competitor, put them into a fast-forward segment where you would also see the results of two other competitors who weren't shown; or have another competitor's run shown midway; or when they came back from commercial 24 minutes into the second hour before Jon Alexis Jr.'s run, they could've done away with the recap of the three women who made it to Rolling Thunder who might or might not make it to Finals, since they would remind us again just before the final commercial break before giving us the results immediately following that break during the fast-forward segment leading into Michelle Warnky's run; etc. Help me out here who is Paul Hamm I have no clue and why people are up in arms about his run.

To me, the most foolish thing ANW does is have wild cards into Vegas. If you failed in the regional qualifying round and did not make it into the top 15, you should not be allowed to compete in the national finals. I would not remove them entirely, though, I'd just only change it to have where certain people don't have to put up with qualifying at all, and are immediately accepted into the Las Vegas Finals. This would include fan favorites and/or people who have made it very far in the most recent seasons, obviously. Perhaps they could have 5 regions like they did this year, and have 75 qualifiers with 15 from each city, along with 25 people who are immediately accepted into Vegas without having to compete in qualifying. Another way to do this would be to have 5 cities and make the top 20 from each city go to Vegas instead of top 15, and no wild cards of any kind. I personally find the first one to be better, but the second one is good, too. Another thing I wish ANW would stop doing is having the city finals shown weeks after the city qualifying. If I were in charge of the show, I would have only one episode for each region, where the qualifying portion and finals portion are all shown in one night, and that it won't end at the Warped Wall. This would make the qualifying portion of ANW much less painful to wait through and allow us to go through each season faster. Either that, or show the city qualifying and city finals in the same week and stop pretending the city finals are a month after the city qualifying. I prefer the first one, though. Couple things the wild cards are used heavily on the women competiors that way they can get more than 1-2 to Vegas if any. I do like the idea that anyone who gets to stage threee in Vegas gets an automatic invite the next year so they do not have to do regionals etc. Just my personal thought process that way your wildcard number would be different each year because they have spots locked up. I have to agree with you on the City finals. I been asking for years for them to do the region and then follow the next episode as the city quaifier; then move to the next region etc etc

The World competiton has been crap for a while and I do not care about the entire argument of editing on who won lost crap it is the entire format. In fact last years World set on my dvr for almost a year before I decided to even watch it basically nothing else to watch and I was desparte. That is my only complaint is the lay out of the entire competition. My personal opinion on how the competition should be run.
Five People per team every one runs every stage. Points are rewarded for clears only and Stage 1 and Stage 2 should have the same clear timie limits as the ANW that season.
Stage 1: one point per clear Stage 2: two points per clear Stage 3: three points per clear
Tie Breaker only timed event Stage 4: Fastest Rope Climb
If I was in charge this is how it would be done
Overall I am fine with the courses I know there are issues and sometimes bad obstacles I am looking at you snake crossing. Then again Sasuke has some obstackles I can not stand the music box and me perosnally I hate the back stream with extreme prejudice.
