The overwhelming majority of the creatures in the Jurassic Park series are female, it's something of a major plot point. That aside, I think that bit has run its course already, please get back on track.
And also a reminder, as much as I agree with a couple of choices of backstory, I didn't initially move the thread from General because I expected a little self control, but we still included ANW8 info here which could bleed into results going outside of the board it should be in. No one who has posted here doesn't know the rules by this point.
If someone is going to be an idiot.. I have the right to call them out for what they are. Lord knows everyone does it to me when I do it.
To be precise, Flip said he was sexually abused from the age of 9 to the age of 15. The reason I feel that age range is important is...well, can you imagine going through that at the same time you are going through puberty? The fact that Flip was even able to continue on with the mask was impressive enough, and him taking off the mask is so much more powerful when you realize what he was going through at the same time he was growing into adulthood physiologically.
When I saw that Flip would be telling his full backstory in the episode, I started bracing myself for it. I had heard him talk about it on a video before, but I never thought he'd say it on ANW itself. What touched me the most is how he approached other possible victims that might be watching the show, and made it clear that it is not their fault. Another very touching story for me is of Spencer Wyckoff running for his sister with muscular dystrophy. Also, not a backstory, but Kevin Bull in general. The look on those kids' faces when he got the fastest time in the LA qualifiers is one of the sweetest moments I've seen on the show.

Flip's story was heavy. It took a lot to open up on the show like that, and it seems like a massive weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Hope it provides some comfort and inspires those in similar circumstances. I'm glad we've been able to see his growth from Jump City to now, both athletically and mentally. Flip is incredible!
