The Mystery of TNS (now known as Dakohosu[?])

I technically could've posted this in General Discussions, but after reading the description of the Spam Board (this isn't nothing, and it isn't SASUKE related at all...but I think putting this here fits the bill better than on GD) I'll just post this here

Correct me if I'm wrong with any of this info, but IIRC, Dakohosu, a very prominent figure on SMF that some of you guys are probably familiar with, was kinda sorta BANNED... For doing precisely nothing!

This is because Dakohosu was formerly known as TNS on SMF (TNS wasn't Dakohosu's full username, but it was the only memorable portion of it, at least for me as I was active when TNS was active) and posted the stuff you guys are probably familiar seeing coming out of Dakohosu...nothing that warrants a sudden increase to ones warning level to the max amount.

As far as I'm aware, there wasn't a clear explanation for the reasoning behind this sudden ban and the reaction was one of incredible confusion, mine included, so I'm just genuinely curious if we know why this occurred.

I'm probably the best person to answer this (obviously).

Yes, I was just on SMF one morning, then later that evening I try and log in and find out I'm banned. I checked my user history from an unlogged in view to see if I may have accidentally typed something (I can't think of any word that I may have accidentally typed that would get me auto-banned but always worth checking), and nope. For reference, this was the last post I commented on (as tns anyway): sasukemaniac.proboards.com/thread/8421/most-undeserving-clear

I always went off the view that it was a technical glitch, given that several past users who are now banned still got warnings for doing much more spammy, obnoxious, or flat out heinous things. Not naming names, but starting arguments on threads unnecessarily and derailing them as a result, wishing horrible things would happen to certain competitors, and making hate posts about certain groups of people; are what I'm talking about. All of these were given at max, 99% warning for the first instance, and only when they continued doing the same thing did they get banned. By that logic, I struggle to believe that my instant ban with zero warning for doing, as far as I and my friends are concerned, nothing wrong, was anything purposefully implemented by mods.

Hence while I'm fully aware that making a new account while banned is against the rules, I did, because I fully believe that my ban was a mistake. And usually when it's pretty obvious that a rightfully banned member has made another account, other users often flag this up and that second account also gets swiftly banned. I'm fairly sure everyone knows that I'm the same person as tns8597 as some people even referred to me as tns when responding to things I've said from this account (I have quite a unique way of, well, overexplaining things... lol), and no one has an issue with this. Even one of the mods are aware that I have this account and nothing's happened. So I think (or at least hope) that everyone knows that my first account was banned for no reason.....
