Looks like it's going to be the shape of the current Jumping Spider but no progress is made on setting it up yet.

Thanks for the pics!!! First of all.. that rolling spinning thing definately looks like they are recycling American Gladiators.. that said.. there has been one on Sasuke. Another thing.. anyone thought that location has a great backdrop with the mountains? Sorry but it looks cool So far it sounds like it's going to be a pretty good set up from the little we've seen. Keep up the good work and hope to see more behind the scenes. P.S. Did you walk around in the course? or someone else took the pics?

Anything semi-complete and/or at least discernible as an actual obstacle would be appreciated. I know this may sound stupid but ask them if you know if it's open to the public over the weekend... I know the answer to the question but then again.. we don't actually know. It's a bit surprising they let someone go through the course now.. Thanks again for the great pics!

Wow, so no HPA in Sasuke 23 then? I'm kinda shocked.
But hey, thanks for the pic, BB!

Well we don't know for sure. It is possible (and it makes sense), but I doubt that the HPA for ANW will be like the one in Sasuke.

I bet there isn't actually going to be a HPA in LA. I'm guessing that the "quarter pipe" or "half pipe attack" they were talking about is actually just the Warped Wall from Santa Monica.
Of course that's just my guess. So??

I think you mentioned this before but my brain is all fuzzy.. is that the same height compared to the real wall? Because quite frankly it looks a whole lot shorter.. if so that's really going to be disappointing.

The Santa Monica warped wall was 12' the real one is 13' so it's a foot shorter....but still, it was a challenge to most of the competitors. Luci, Ryoga and Jake Hilton both had trouble with at as well as some others. It kept most of the non athletic types from being able to press the red buzzer.
I'ts always possible that they could add an extra foot to the top?

Very true And yes I do agree that although I'd like to see the HPA I do believe they might have confused it with the Warped Wall G4 already had. That said.. it's cool they have it We'll find out for sure this week when it's actually placed. So happy they are working on it now!

maybe from the ground, but not from where you stand at the bottom of the slope. They also had the "Great Wall" with the rope hanging down, that one was taller, maybe 17'??
Thanks for the pics by the way! Are you going back tomorrow?

The Great Wall from 18 is the same piece they use now, But they just went back to it being the Soritatsu Kabe and don't have a rope

That's not true. The Great Wall was way taller. The updated Warped Wall was only about 12cm higher than the old one.

Yes it was by far (higher than the regular) actually. The only way to get to the top was praying you could grab the rope.
