Hopefully.
The amount of activity in the group / page is proportionate to the amount of Sasuke related news to be released; so if there's no news, there's no activity. Not many people use it for discussion or anything as much as they do common interest, so if anything, the occasional update from the admins we're enough to get a good amount of activity around competition time.
To be entirely honest, I don't see "more activity" coming out of it, but seeing as how this is a page, and can be "liked" without necessarily joining a group like before, this certainly does open up to more potential fans, all of which can still receive updates and use the page as a launchpad for community offerings (ie: links to here and/or Sasukepedia).
Though, the influx of various trials, auctions, etc for Sasuke 27 has made this certainly a time of news updates. Post Sasuke 27 however, will be a different story. As it always is until news of a pending competition. It's a repetitive cycle.

I am sure if nothing else it will be better than the Ninja Warrior Facebook page. Imagine if you see nothing but the following posts.
A: Hey guyz im realy good and i wanna be on ninja warrier how do i aply?
B: Why did the americans not get to compete with the Japanese? That makes it less fun.
C: I LOVE THE ALLSTARZ BUT THEY ARE SUX NOW CUZ THEIR NOT WINNIN EVERY TIME.
D: Why isnt Yuji Kano Lee and Levi All STars? They are the best right now so they have to be! Why not? I do not understand!
E: Ninja Warripr 27 airs on May 22nd.
So you see, maybe only having the hardcore fans isn't so bad LOL

Sasuke Facebook Page - www.facebook.com/SasukeManiacsUnfortunately, Facebook is "archiving" (see: deleting) all of it's groups that use the "old group format", that don't have enough activity to get upgraded to the "new group format." With that in mind, even if we did have the activity to upgrade to the new format, the new format removes a lot of functionality that the old format had. The older format were more akin to what are now Pages, while Groups are literally just discussions for people with like-minded interests, which are more akin to a "community wall" that people can write on. The old Sasuke group will be archived due to lack of activity, and by the time the archiving process happens, we most likely won't be able to convert, nor would we want to with the lack of functionality. So here we are, at the end of the era of Facebook groups, and now at the beginning of the Facebook Pages. The Sasuke group was a relative success, with over 400 members, and events for every Monster9 related show since Sasuke 23 - Sasuke, Kunoichi, Sportsman, and even including the non-Monster9 DOORS. How about this group: www.facebook.com/SasukeManiacs?sk=wall#!/home.php?sk=group_9857044225

If so, could you spread the word about our SASUKE page there? When the news comes, I'd want everyone possible to know about it.
