Unfortunately, Facebook is "archiving" (see: deleting) all of it's groups that use the "old group format", that don't have enough activity to get upgraded to the "new group format."

With that in mind, even if we did have the activity to upgrade to the new format, the new format removes a lot of functionality that the old format had. The older format were more akin to what are now Pages, while Groups are literally just discussions for people with like-minded interests, which are more akin to a "community wall" that people can write on.

The old Sasuke group will be archived due to lack of activity, and by the time the archiving process happens, we most likely won't be able to convert, nor would we want to with the lack of functionality.


So here we are, at the end of the era of Facebook groups, and now at the beginning of the Facebook Pages.

The Sasuke group was a relative success, with over 400 members, and events for every Monster9 related show since Sasuke 23 - Sasuke, Kunoichi, Sportsman, and even including the non-Monster9 DOORS.

I'm in the process of inviting the other "American Ninja All-Stars" (as told by G4) to join the group. Hopefully we can get them in there.

I just joined as well. I tried looking for other Sasuke pages but they just didn't look very appealing. This one looks pretty good and it seems like it's only going to grow. You should put in some pictures of the course as a showcase for newer fans and just for everyone to enjoy. I wasn't too into all the Lego Sasuke pictures cluttering up G4's Ninja Warrior page; I just think that seeing more of the actual thing would make it look more authentic. It's also nice to see actual past ANC people as officers too (Well, two of them so far).

I can't seem to find any nice high quality images of the course, or images that aren't watermarked by the G4 logo taking up more then half of the image, hence I haven't added any yet. If someone with some nice quality images can upload them, i'd appreciate it ^^;

As for the ANC people as officers, I've sent invitations to Luci, David, Brian, and Colin. They either haven't received it yet (not logged in), haven't taken a look, or are not interested. Though, the response so far from Levi and Brett has been positive so i'm hoping the others will follow suit and join as well.

I don't do Facebook but it's cool that there's a community there. As for pics.. Half the world has ripped off the ones I put on my blog I dont' mind so long as people remember who owns the copyright and actually posts it. Like the 3 in the page you have already.
