For those who haven't seen the site already, here is the link to the Sasuke Maniac Fansite which has been set up by blt024. Much of the site is still in its developmental stages, so help would very much be appreciated by everyone. Forum: Exactly the forum here, these boards are now part of the larger fan site. Wiki: (Otherwise known as "Sasukepedia") A complete wiki on EVERYTHING related to SASUKE. The wiki hopes to be as accurate to the real show as possible with the TBS obstacle names (although G4's will be mentioned), Japanese order of names, etc. There are pages for everything and many more that still need to be worked on and improved. Pretty much any part of SASUKE one can think of will have a page in the future. However, the wiki needs more editors. There are pages already set up, so use them as a template for others. You will need to sign up to edit pages there, but help would be greatly appreciated. Gallery: A picture gallery for SASUKE pictures. Pretty much a place holder now as most of the pictures will be in the wiki. Not much is there now, although it can be expanded soon. I believe you need to sign up for a separate account there as well. Videos: Just a place holder for something else. Will be removed in the future. Any ideas what should be put in its place? Games: A Game Boy Emulator for Java is in place, allowing for play of the 3 Kinniku Banzuke games for the GB/GBC. (My personal favorite is KB3, a walkthrough will be posted later). Also, the link for the Ninja Warrior game by G4 is there. Any future games/any new emulators found will hopefully be posted. Links: Links section. Pretty basic now, any ideas for more links can be added if you have a Sasukepedia account. Contact Us: Basic section to show the editors of the site and wiki.

it'd be nice if by being signed up would make us signed up for the site itself. Anyway you could do that?

No, proboards is a separate site altogether. There's no way to transfer that login info into the other sites as those are also the same. In fact, all three of the features that you have to sign up for are on separate sites. It would be nice if there was some link connecting the three. However, the only way I can see that working is if the admins individually created new accounts for everyone. However, we can't access what your password is.

Great idea guys.
Maybe instead of getting rid of the video section you can find clips posted from YouTube of people's audition videos or other Sasuke/Ninja Warrior related content.

Yes, its down currently. We're switching servers on Sasukepedia from the old one to a wikia one. This will make it a lot easier to edit and we'll encounter little to no problems with it (hopefully). About the video section, I think it's a bit unnecessary because there was already one set in place

im having major problems with the server today. mostly them wiping everything from it, but it should be up and running right now. if its down anytime today or tomorrow, thats probably why.
also, the videos link (for now) will just link you to the special spot. you have to know the username/password though.

I sent an email to all the people who have contributed to the first version of Sasukepedia. Let me know if I forgot to send you an email.

just a quick note: the only ROM I'm having trouble with is the GB game "Chousen Monoha Kimida!". It's freezing when I'm on the Rolling Log.

Sorry to be a nitpicker, but the results for KUNOICHI 3 seem to contain SASUKE 12 results (all of stage 1 except competitors 98,99,100). I apologise if this is simply because the site is so new and haven't gotten around to fixing everything. I would fix it myself but I know very few of the competitors and with my coding ability would make a bigger problem than it is now. Actually maybe I'll try to fix it anyway, I don't wish to complain about this great project without attempting to pull my weight as well.

You'll notice that about a few of the competition pages. We use other tournaments as a template for future competition pages. For example, I'm currently editing SASUKE 18, so I'm going to be using SASUKE 21's page first, and then change the info later.

BTW, I love this line from the Olivia Munn page: "Kevin Pereira was sent with Munn to compete and the two of them cleared a combined one obstacle."

Question to all SASUKEpedia editors (hopefully to save time):
How should the obstacle pages be broken up between modified obstacles?
For example, the Shin-Cliffhanger is part of the Cliffhanger page just like the the Final Ring is in the Gliding Ring page.
However, what about the Kudari Lamp Grasper (downwards globe grasp) or the Curtain Swing? Should they have their own page or be apart of another obstacle page?

Kudari, I think, doesn't deserve its own page. It's just a simple modification of the same obstacle that existed before.
Curtain Swing is debatable.
