Peg Plank- a mix of the Cliff Hanger and Ultimate Plank from Viking. So it is basically a Ultimate Plank in the shape of the Cliff Hanger

Spider Cling
Basically, the Jumping Spider except when you jump off the trampoline you have to reach curtains instead of walls.

Death Wall-Climb around a jut in a wall like a cliff hanger, go over the jut, place your feet on a small ledge(Ledge Walk) and place your hands on a ledge above you. After you get to a certain point, you come to the end of the foot ledge and then you do a cliff hanger, hit a button at the end, slide down a pole, and move on to the next obstacle.

Blind Downhill Jump - there is a paper wall near the end of the slide so you can only see the rope you need to catch once you burst through the wall.
Horizontal salmon - The salmon ladder sides placed horizontally (instead of vertically), with the side with the indents facing downwards. Competitors traverse this with their hands (not the bar) underneath it, by grabbing on to the pieces jutting out like a rock-climber would. Hope that makes sense.
Salmon ladder on crack - The normal salmon ladder, but with some of the gaps not slightly lining up (so you will not always be horizontal).
Flying jumping rope ladder - the chute part of the flying chute, dropping down onto a trampoline, then bouncing off the trampoline to a rope ladder.
Arm bars - 2 mini pipe-sliders, one for each arm. Some sections of the tracks have gaps in them too, but the 2 tracks will have gaps in different places (like the 2 sides of the body prop).
Double jump - Competitors jump onto one trampoline, then another, then land on a platform. Each gap (between the platforms and the trampolines) is 3m (adjustable).
2nd hand cliff hanger - The cliff hanger from Sasuke 4, but the 2nd bar rotates freely about its centre of gravity (like the prism tilt).

Peg Plank- a mix of the Cliff Hanger and Ultimate Plank from Viking. So it is basically a Ultimate Plank in the shape of the Cliff Hanger I had a similar idea. Peg Wall: A peg board in the shape of a large V, with a really narrow path so you have to follow it all the way down, and back up again. Horizontal length same as usual third stage obstacles. And here's an evil but impractical combination. Jumping Spider v2: Jumping Spider, you go forwards, then it goes directly up like the old final stage. You come up to a platform and get off. This lead onto... Glider Chute: Rope Glider, at the bottom you have to let go and catch the rope from the Flying Chute.

I have a ton of obstacles as combos of others or made up ones heres a few, and knowing me i'll add to it later Arm Bars-use only your arms this picture is pretty self explanatory i664.photobucket.com/albums/vv5/lfrt2009/ArmBars1.jpgUnderside of Death-the holes on the paths of playground sets, you put your fingers in those holes and go 5m and then jump a one meter gap, the whole obstacle is suspended like a bridge Jumping Spider Hang-farther back walls for the Jumping Spider(farther than 19) then when you stick the JS, you transverse the walls with your legs and use your hands on a net above Sphere Jump-2 tiny spheres that you must jump from and they are balanced on a triangular thing, so one wrong move and the sphere goes splash I'll add more later

I have one: I call it the Panama Canal. Think a pipe slider, but after 10 feet, have a jump up to a higher rail (similar to moving up a rung on the Salmon Ladder) of 12 inches. Another 7 feet, and 15 inch jump. Then, 5 feet, and then 18 inch jump. The top pipe swerves around in an S shape, where you begin to drop. You have to physically jump the bar over a small piece of metal, but land it on the track 12 inches down. 7 feet, then jump 'down' a 15 inch gap. 10 feet, and then an 18 inch gap. I said those heights correctly. The jumps up need to get harder, understandably, but then the drops get larger as you drop as well, to test your grip. It should have been dead by the end of the S

Final Rings - Three horizontal rings each one lower and facing the opposite direction of the one before it (so the first and last rings would be facing the same direction) which you rotate while you're on them (so the only way to move to the other is crossing the ring to the other while moving it if that makes sense). When you reach the last one, you swing (while potentially moving it at the same time) to an angled landing pad with little grip so you have to find a way to hold on and climb up to the finish mat. A picture of the rings to sorta give you an idea. It can be harder making every ring level especially the way the last ring is set up. Pic: EDIT: Here's a link to the rings (guess you can buy some to put on a playground) www.playlsi.com/Explore-Products/Product-Lines/Outdoor-Playsystems/PlayBooster/PB-Overhead-Events/Triple-Ring-Fling/Pages/Triple-Ring-Fling.aspx

1. Cliff Hanger-The older version (Sasuke 9-17) 4.8 meters, cliff is made of iron).
2. Shin-cliffhanger - gaps, 200cm, 75 cm, 150 cm, jumping distance 90 cm, difference in altidute 77 cm (cliff is made of iron).
3. Shin-cliffhanger - gaps, 200cm, 90 cm, 80cm, juming distance 120 cm, difference in altidute 40cm (cliff is made of iron).
4. Shin-cliffhanger (Sasuke Park replica) - gaps 220 cm, 80 cm, 100cm, jumping distance 100 cm, difference in altidute 50 cm (lacquered and slippery).Cliff is made of wood. (Cliff 2,8cm).
5 .Jumping Spider

Salmon ladder on crack - The normal salmon ladder, but with some of the gaps not slightly lining up (so you will not always be horizontal). I like this idea.

Spinning Log--similar to the Log Plank except the cylinder rotates via a motor. An advanced form would have one section spinning clockwise, another spinning counter, and the middle section under no power at all, but is still free to spin. Broken Double Bridge--A series of small balance beams are set up in 2 parallel lines spaced about 1m apart. The beams are set up so that the contestant must up from one line to the other in order to cross. Wall Run--A wall about 10m long is set on a slight angle so contestants can do exactly what it says on the tin. Path of Stones--The Dancing Stones made more maze-like. It would have more than 1 "solution" as well. New Bungee Bridge--Like the old one, but the "planks" are made up actual elastic bands of varying tensions, similar to those used for exercise or therapy like so.Suspension Bridge--A plank bridge tied to a bolt at each corner to allow for swaying and tipping. Propeller Climb--A set of bars rotating in alternate directions are placed directly above each other. The contestant must reach the top rung and then transfer onto a final stationary bar that leads to the next obstacle. Hurdles--A series of alternating high (more than 4 feet) and low hurdles (less than 3 feet). The contestant must go over the high hurdles and under the low ones. Pit Trap--Similar to the Dance Bridge. 12 large spring-hinged trap doors are placed in a grid with mechanically activated locks. Before each run, 4 doors are chosen at random to be unlocked once the contestant starts. Hilarity ensues. ETA: A sample New Sasuke course using some of the above obstacles. Stage 1: Broken Double Bridge -> Spinning Log -> Log Grip -> Jumping Spider -> Warped Wall -> Slider Jump -> Tarzan Rope -> Rope Climb Stage 2: Downhill Jump -> Salmon Ladder -> Stick Slider -> Path of Stones -> Hurdles -> Wall Run -> Metal Spin* -> Wall Lift Stage 3: Arm Rings ->Descending Lamp Grasper -> Devil Steps -> New Cliffhanger -> Jumping Bars -> Propeller Climb -> Spider Flip -> Final Ring *-If the Wall Run went right into the Metal Spin, that would be really awesome.

Sorry to bump the topic but I thought of one. (Don't have a name for it) - It's a variation of the Jumping Bars. The bars are hung from a turntable of sorts and the jumps go down at an angle sort of like a ) . So basically if you jump right you're ready for the next obstacle, if you jump wrong you have to realign the bars or try to figure out how to jump like that *-If the Wall Run went right into the Metal Spin, that would be really awesome. Already been done, It's called the Halfpipe Attack..

It'd be cooler if it were a real wall and the rope actually spun on a turntable, like the Metal Spin.
That's just my take on it, though. You have a point. It pretty much has been done.

Hmm...was thinking about new Second Stage obstacles, what about this:
Take the two logs from Kunoichi 8 and the Sasuke 21 Trials, and add the Hammer Dodge to that. Requires speed, balance, and timing.

Has anyone done a jumping body prop yet? with moving walls?

A Body Prop that ends with a wall placed very high off the ground, after completing, the competitor must fall for 1m and do Spider Walk(1-4)without a break point. Complete Body Prop, then a 1m fall gives almost no time for Spider Walk hand/foot position!
