This may be slightly off-topic, but might there be some confusion on there being "another" 20th anniversary competition (i.e. aside from SASUKE 20)? I'm probably nitpicking, but I just find it a bit awkward that they're labeling SASUKE 33 as such, simply for the sake of clarity and differentiation between the two. SASUKE 20's starting line even had the phrase "20th Anniversary" above it: If anything, I'm guessing that the official translation/phrasing between the two tournaments (20th competition vs. 20th year of competitions) is what is leading to my confusion.

The timing is also changed as well. So, (as of 1st Feb via Twitter) February 11th FIRST STAGE - 9am to 7pm February 12th SECOND STAGE, THIRD STAGE, FINAL STAGE - 5pm to 12am (Feb 13th) I had wondered if the Tweet said something about that, but the translation was pretty rough, so i just ignored it. I wonder if there is something big going down on Day 1. Also, the final 3 stages are in one day, I wonder if that will affect any of the competitors. I know some of them are used to taping all in one day, but some of the newer guys haven't really done that yet. This link did, not Twitter

Remember that according to TBS.. they hate anything made by Monster 9. LOL Still though.. remember Sasuke 30.. Yeah.. I feel like I'm watching Princess Bride..

Except the kanji is different: 20周年記念 means 20th year anniversary. 30回記念 means 30th "time" (in this case it probably means show) anniversary. SASUKE 20 was labeled 20回記念. The confusion only comes in play with the translation into English.

So something in Kunoichi is going to show up in Sasuke 33. Hmm.. that explains why they are airing it after the First stage of Sasuke is completely taped.

Ahahahahaha it's not Kane. If only it were then everything would explode. So again I guess the surprise is just Yamada or is there another top competitor from yesteryear we're forgetting...? BESIDES SHINGO. He's back. The man, the legend, the dreamer. Competing for the 15th time, he has been training for the last 6 tournaments for this moment. The one, the only...Yasuo Aoki.

You guys all forgetting the one man that was a old man God. The hang glider man is back! Wait...Inui said "him/her"... It's Hibari! That's fairly inappropriate/insensitive.

Possibly create an obstacle thread? I suspect we will see more photos in the coming week. Just went ahead and made it. All obstacle discussion/speculation for 33's course should now be made here.
