DREWWWWW!! What a legend. An Excellent end to this competition. And I love the homage to SASUKE with the throwing in the water. And what Matt said; they all contributed, and that's awesome.

Nice show, and great competition. {Spoiler}Brian's fail was a shock, and glad to see Drew finally beat Stage 3. Now hopefully he can do that in the normal season.

The 3rd Stage didn't really go through a giant renewal after all... You realize this was taped last year right? So this is ANW8's Stage 3, they didn't change it since it was set up and they weren't going to do a complete overhaul for a one night comp

The course didn't change too much after all Third Stage has the Keylock and Walking Bar new, Cliffhanger and Hang Climb is just redesigned. Flying Bar and Floating Board should be either move or go tbh.

Philip just pointed out that they edited Owen's time. If you look at the clock at the top of the Rope Ladder it shows 5:06 for Owen FIVE MINUTES LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL {Spoiler} I didn't see this? I went back to check and all I saw was the second counter on ?:56:00 as he climbed to the top. When else do we get a clear view?

I like having the flying bar ending it. The floating boards are kind of boring and should be replaced. They do not trip up the serious competitors anymore. Brian Arnold's fall was one of the most shocking. I did not see that fall happening. I thought he was going to clear it. The curved body prop was something interesting as it stopped Sean McColl. I thought after Josh Levin breezed through it, it would be something easy for rock climbers. They messed up showing Jessie's full run ahead of time. It would have been massive if it wasn't revealed. It would have sent social media into a frenzy. Im shocked she beat stage 2 with Brian Arnold and Daniel Gil failing it though.

ATS's well constructed Flying Bar makes TBS's pile of garbage one look like dog s***... I can't believe I'm saying this but ANW8 Vegas's course was a lot better than Sasuke 33's.

Sean McColl was absolutely perfect on the Double Wedge. He made it look like a joke. Also, given the pace he had going on Stage 3, he would've finished in maybe 3 minutes in a previous year without the Curved Body Prop.

Ratings for this are up. Basketball destroyed everyone but ANW actually did okay. American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. the World (NBC) (8-11 p.m.) – S 1.1 rating / 4 share 4.18 million viewers.

Outdrawing Megyn Kelly on her debut night has to be a win, right?

Outdrawing Megyn Kelly on her debut night has to be a win, right? Last time I checked they are both on NBC.. From all accounts that debut was not as high as people expected. ANW though got much higher than expected and even did better than last year iirc. Btw final numbers are out (they are always a day delayed for those unfamiliar with the process). The only major adjustments of note is that the slaughter by the NBA finals was actually MUCH higher than expected.. 2 full points higher than fast numbers (Now at 7.1 rating / 30 share and the viewers were almost at 20 million at 19.69 Million viewers (higher than the original 14 they posted in fast numbers. ANW itself didn't change or go down thankfully but they were solid 2nd. Cable numbers for cable are out but in chart format (Look below) though but it's obvious everyone was watching the NBA finals. For those interested in looking more into numbers: The Sked chart has the full list. Another thing of note is the ratings were higher as the night wore for ANW. Here's a breakdown of the hour intervals. NOTE: These are the fast numbers (See above for finals) but ANW didn't change in terms of numbers.. just Basketball.

ATS's well constructed Flying Bar makes TBS's pile of garbage one look like dog s***... I can't believe I'm saying this but ANW8 Vegas's course was a lot better than Sasuke 33's. Do the rungs on the ANW Flying Bar have soft padding? I remember hearing loud clanging noises when the SASUKE Flying Bar bar hits each rung, and part of the obstacle's challenge seems to be dealing with the impact of the bar hitting the rung. Back in ANW5 and that season's USA vs. Japan special, nobody got past the Flying Bar, which seemed to be not padded. It seemed like ANW "fixed" it by padding the rungs starting with ANW6. ----- Regarding the ratings, we're going to have to wait and see if the Celebrity and USA vs. the World specials both getting a 1.1 in Adults 18-49 means that ANW has peaked ratings-wise, or if it's just a result of competition and not being on the normal Monday night. Last year's special was in February and it had a 1.4 in Adults 18-49.

I mean the celebrity thing isn't a big concern, The special last night you do realize competed against the NBA Finals which pulled in almost 20 million viewers, and I'll be honest I was one of them Everything is fine!
