ATS's well constructed Flying Bar makes TBS's pile of garbage one look like dog s***... I can't believe I'm saying this but ANW8 Vegas's course was a lot better than Sasuke 33's. Do the rungs on the ANW Flying Bar have soft padding? I remember hearing loud clanging noises when the SASUKE Flying Bar bar hits each rung, and part of the obstacle's challenge seems to be dealing with the impact of the bar hitting the rung. Back in ANW5 and that season's USA vs. Japan special, nobody got past the Flying Bar, which seemed to be not padded. It seemed like ANW "fixed" it by padding the rungs starting with ANW6. Yep, it has that gritty rubbery foam type thing in it, I don't know the name of the material, but if I did I'd tell Inui because Sasuke needs to use it too

I still maintain everyone who failed the Sasuke version made a correctable mistake of some sort. The notches on the Sasuke version actually have a curve to them which adds to the whole aspect of landing square. There's a curve on the ANW versions as well, but it's not as pronounced, the far notch (from the camera angle) almost looks flat if you didn't know better. The ANW version, while a fine design, is almost a gimmie if you get there.

I mean the celebrity thing isn't a big concern, The special last night you do realize competed against the NBA Finals which pulled in almost 20 million viewers, and I'll be honest I was one of them Everything is fine! Yeah there comes a point where they just throw in the towel against something big and just aim for silver. This was it. That said.. I still maintain that they are dangerously close to over saturation. The season hasn't even officially started yet.. and the new people haven't figured that out yet. We'll see how the rest of the season goes. I didn't watch the special out of principle and I still heard people bitching about the change in format and omission of Japan. Oh well. I expected NBC would do that eventually.. still hurts though. Curious how they will handle that in a couple weeks with the current season about to tape.

{Spoiler} Why wasn't McColl DQed for this?
What are the rules for this obstacle anyway?

What are the rules for this obstacle anyway? Well his fingers didn't grab it, they just hung over. It doesn't really matter anyways since he fell.

Yeah I know it doesn't matter anymore, but...
a)...how do the refs see in real time if the fingers are grabbing? b)...what if he got through and got the win for his team? c)...someone did it in regular competition and then won the million?
Not saying he should have been DQed, just curious

Philip just pointed out that they edited Owen's time. If you look at the clock at the top of the Rope Ladder it shows 5:06 for Owen
FIVE MINUTES LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL {Spoiler} I didn't see this? I went back to check and all I saw was the second counter on ?:56:00 as he climbed to the top. When else do we get a clear view?

That is amazing, you need to post that to their facebook and ask them to stop falsifying results.
