I believe that is where the first jump is. You jump across from the top portion, and then back to the small portion I think. But if you miss you'd get a face full of wall, so I'm surprised this passed Health and Safety.

Of note: The old Sasuke style 18-25/ANW4 holes Log Grip is back instead of the handles version It's not a replica if it isn't covered in Vaseline... LOL good one, that was ANW3 though with their narrow foam rubber monster lol , they had a proper log grip with the holes on the ANW4 courses lol

Hopefully that's the one returning. And does discussion about potential obstacles have to be in spoilers?

I'll ask a mod to put it on the title now that we are within 24 hours of major spoilers.

I only tried the handles version from ANW7, didn't feel bad but the handles almost made it a little bit easier but it still does damage so I'm fine with it, although I'd think holes are better for a 5 level version to have a better chance at recovery

Haven't signed yet, so here's one last overview of Vegas 2016 from driving.
Stage 1 1. Piston Road Kai (MODIFIED) 2. Propeller Bar 3. Log Grip to floating platform (NEW) 4. Jumping Spider 5. Sonic Curve Kai (MODIFIED) 6. Warped Wall 7. Balance Plates (NEW) 8. Swinging Handles (NEW) 9. Cargo Net
Stage 2 1. Ring Swing (NEW) 2. Double Salmon Ladder 3. Hourglass Bridge (NEW) 4. Butterfly Wall 5. Double Wedge (NEW) 6. Wall Lift
Stage 3 1. Circuit Breaker (NEW) 2. Floating Boards Kai (MODIFIED) 3. Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger ANW EDITION (MODIFIED) 4. Sine Curve Body Prop (NEW) 5. Hang Climb 6. Walking Bar (NEW) 7. Flying Bar
Good luck to all the ninjas! Because of a certain obstacle, we may see no Stage 2 clears this year. :/
ARE YOU f***ing KIDDING ME!? In the past, I have disagreed with those that stated the stages of ANW were too tough/unfair, but this one seems ridiculous. Stage 1 is fine, but then they just HAVE to bring back some of the most BS obstacles in history like the hugely unfair and luck based Hourglass Drop/Walking Bar. Ridiculous. And ON TOP of the difficulty that will already be added due to the new stuff, they go and add a layer of unfairness too. Ok but you sayin that the Walking Bar is unfair, but the flying bar isn't?

WELP. No one's winning this year lol What in the name of God is the "Piston Road Kai"? Don't think that's the official name. It's the piston road obstacle but the surface that you step on wiggles as if it has a ball underneath it.
Next year the pistons'll f***in rotate 360 degrees.

I swear ATS couldn't make an iconic original obstacle to save a life, even with their gigantic budget. This entire course is more of the same from years' past and relies entirely on M9's brilliant ideas. They can make whatever they want, yet the course has been a modified Sasuke 27 for 4 years now, mixed together with asymmetrical and ugly obstacles. I don't think I'll ever experience that feeling of awe again given from seeing obstacles like the Jumping Spider, the Salmon Ladder, the Rolling Escargot, etc. for the first time. TBS today doesn't do a much better job, either. More understandably, of course, due to the financial situation, but not even close to what M9 used to bang out year after year.
Can I also add that the constant red and blue is so ugly. I really don't want to come across as one of those guys who rags on ANW for no reason all the time, because I watch the show and I try to defend it, but this has bugged me since ANW 5. We get it. It's American Ninja Warrior. The course is one big seizure. Just throw some browns, blacks, grays, anything to offset the primary outburst of color, and pick BETWEEN RED OR BLUE. Just look at the Log Grip in that video posted and tell me it's not the best looking obstacle. Yeah, more of that.

They have been rather lax in Vegas, but they've come up with some damn good obstacles in city qualifying and finals. Double Tilt Ladders, Ring Toss, Double Helix, Floating Monkey Bars...and Vegas has also had stuff like Roulette Row and Rope Jungle.

Those are definitely new, but questionably innovative or memorable, in my opinion at least. I try not to be biased toward Sasuke, but out of all the obstacles Sasuke has created, and all those that ANW has, I think it's not even a question that ANW doesn't compare. You can pick and tear apart a lot of obstacles from Sasuke as being stupid or lacking creativity, but at the end of the day Sasuke made the iconic obstacles everybody respects that nobody will say are bad, and the fact that I don't even have to name them here to prove my point says something. ANW's seemingly 100+ glorified upper body obstacles (Seriously, that's all they make) can all be torn to shreds. In order of what you gave me, a glorified Bridge of Destiny (G4 name of a Sasuke obstacle), easier Arm Rings, easier Flying Bar, something LITERALLY taken out of a children's playground, and Rope Junction, or better yet, a bunch of ropes. I only left out the Double Helix because it's probably the only original one, but even then nothing mind blowing whatsoever. Want to emphasize this is my opinion of course. Honestly the fact alone that ANW is 90% upper body annoys me but that's a story for another day. My main argument really is that I don't expect much, like one or two obstacles up to par with the wall or salmon ladder each year may even be asking for too much, but we really don't get anything out of this design and build crew. Not even good decent obstacles. Yeah, it's hard to build 30+ obstacles for an entire season, but when it's pushing it to say even five of them were neat, that's not ok. All they do is supersize obstacles, or hang atomic holds everywhere. My favorite crapshoot obstacle this year will be seen in Philly. It's as if they threw 4 obstacles together and hoped they'd stick. In fact, that's actually what they were doing during testing. Anyway, this is my last post about the subject. We're getting off topic anyway.

I was at the 4:30 for a bit but spent a larger majority of my time there during one of the other test times.

I'm guessing 2 stage one finishers and both of them were Kacy.
