I'd love to hear a report from this even if there are no spoilers. I'm just excited for you guys getting SOMETHING there in the UK. Me and Hunter have found a cheap hotel for £20 a night each so we might go to both days now (Depends if we can get tickets for the 1st, although we probably will) Either way we will be making a video on our adventures in Manchester, from me probably missing my stop on the train and ending up in Glasgow, to trying to get a small interview with the commentators/competitors and lots of pictures/videos of all the obstacles in action Also you can apply for up to 7 tickets per person for 1 session per day, so for both days I am getting 2 tickets for the 12pm session and Hunter's getting 2 tickets for the 6pm session EDIT: Got Priority Tickets for Semi-Finals/ Final

Calls were made today, but apparently if you got it, you're asked not to mention it
As for me, I started a new job less than 3 weeks ago, so asking for time off is not an option

Ah, gutted you had to turn it down, I didn't get a call, not that I'm that suprised, Part of me is glad that I won't be 'taking' a place away from someon who can do a lot better, but I'll be gutted when I'm there and see it all in action not to have had a go.
Currently got tickets for both shows on both Tues & Wed, thought Wed would be the finals, but hearing it's the Friday now from NWUK's FB page, but no tickets advertised for it on the lostintv site ..yet.. wonder if they'll list them, or perhaps offer them to people going to the earlier ones?

Hello all Blimey, it's been a while since I last posted here...to old friends, hey! To new people I haven't met yet, hey there, I'm Arty, nice to meet you I've been out of the loop for a while but I'm living and studying in the UK now, so I saw the chance and took it... Got a phone call a couple of days ago, and I'm in!!!! I'm ridiculously busy with uni stuff until the day I go, so I don't know how much I'll be able to keep in touch. But I will try to post what I can of how it goes, what the event is like etc. SO EXCITED!!!

Giggles. My twitter feed is being flooded with pics which makes me excited for you guys! Don't forget to have fun and enjoy the experience! When it's over feel free to come over and share the excitement. Btw one of my longtime Rambling Rican followers is retweeting everything he finds on Ninja Warrior UK on twitter.

It's a shame that they couldn't fit four stages in due to lack of space. But still looks awesome with three!

Set looks great, can't wait to go and watch in person next Wednesday & Friday. Would have been amazed if Tim Shieff hadn't been an entrant! Hope Hunter/Luke did well tonight, same for everyone that competed. Here's hoping this is the first of many seasons of it here in the UK

Hi folks, first time posting on here! I made the UK show, but i'm having a nervous breakdown about it! I guess i did well on the auditions and beat the men on one or two of the tests but having a little crisis of confidence... i'm a 30 something mum of 2, and have been ill recently so no where near fit for this. Just going to give it my best shot, and hope i don't crash out on the first! Well done to all the others, i know they have started filming already.... i'm going on Tuesday!

Best of luck for it cjflix. I was having doubts about even applying, thinking I'd be off at the first obstacle, but if you don't try you won't know (alas I won't know as I didn't get 'the call' )
As you've said, just go, give it your best shot and see what happens. Regardless of how far you get, you'll be able to look back and say "at least I gave it a go", and will have the experience of having taken part!

Good luck cjflix! Welcome to SMF! My only advice is go out there and have fun! Make it the experience you want and see how far you can go!
