Great news again with the viewing figures, should be even better for the semis and final then ! Hope the good figures are already getting ITV thinking of making a 2nd series, there seems to be plenty of people saying they wanted to apply for this series, and/or want to for a 2nd ..

Not going to lie, I only watched the first episode and the commentary and editing style kind of killed it for me, maybe it's a cultural thing but it felt too much like wipeout taking place on an ANW style course, but seeing the ratings I bet Challenge is kicking themselves for not being interested lol

It's like ANW on G4 and ANW on NBC, same show got 5-10 times more ratings cause NBC is just watched by more.

It's almost like in the UK the TV Channel outweighs the show, unless you are on BBC, ITV or Sky you are probably not going to get over a million viewers, whereas any old crap on these 3 channels can easily pull 5m+

Me and my friend watched it on a day when we were both kinda annoyed and tired and felt exhausted afterwards, and haven't been back. But maybe we should give the semis a chance...

Tbf SASUKE and ANW on Challenge only ever used to draw 200,000 max whereas Tackeshis castle also on challenge used to draw almost a million, and Wipeout on the BBC used to draw 7 million, so they have had to make it more silly and less serious, however I can say that the finals will be good, you should stick around to watch them

Aaahh, I assumed four qualifiers (like NWSE). I'll have to watch that then!

I thought ANW had too much fluff, but having watched the US version of The Chase, that has too much damn padding as well

This wasn't really all that different from ANW, except the editing was even worse.

It's basically ANW style format with the humour of SASUKE. That's how Britain likes it.

Not a fan of ff clears especially if that person fails in the next stage of the competion.

Not a fan of ff clears especially if that person fails in the next stage of the competion. No, that's one Sasuke aspect I could happily do without. I can understand from the TV production point of view, with 500 starting competitors, but for the competitors, and their friends & family, to get a few seconds shown out of a 2-3 minute run is not good. I know I'd be ecstatic if I cleared the 1st stage and I think I'd manage to not tell my parents and make them wait for the show...only for potentially a 5 second clip.
