Actually he said he is competing... Your actually right. DESPITE the withdrawal due to the hamstring injury, the Jamaica Olympics team named him on the Track and Field team after giving a medical exempt. He is okay to compete. Thanks for telling. I'll fix the post from earlier.

US Golfer Jordan Spieth will not go to the Olympics due to concerns of the Zika Virus. Multiple Sources confirmed. Spieth joins a list of golfers who will not go to the olympics including: Rory Mcllroy, Jason Day, and fellow US Golfer: Dustin Johnson. which for the people who don't know, is the guy in my profile picture

Heyyy guys! Olympics are not really big deal here in Finland, but i am excited for one Olympic sport: Javelin throw!
It is highly expected that someone finally throws over 90 meters (since emm when?) in olympics games. Tero Pitkämäki, Thomas Röhler and Antti Ruuskanen are all my bets. Yes, Julius Yego is also competing, but his 92m seems to be fluke, due to poor results this year.
Anyways, i am super highly excited of Javelin throw!

At least they're not cancelled but they still sound like a big mess, this'll be the first time I actually watch the olympics though, so that'll be fun

As much fun as it was seeing Kendra break the record she's not competing in Rio, she only got 6th in the US Trials and US only takes the podium winners.

I don't care who it is.. you qualify for the spots available that were earned from Worlds the years before. No exceptions.

Well it's just my opinion...she broke the world record and deserved some consolation...

Well her consolation is that she has the world record. This happened after the US trials. She may not be competing in Rio, but her mark in Rio is she has the mark to beat. She's the standard unless that's somehow beaten before then.

Olympics should be about a culmination of the best athletes in the world. The US trials along with the Zika virus and the ridiculous Brazilian government is making these games a joke. UK have lost like 10/15 medal contenders due to them not wanting to compete due to the Zika virus and Brazil's financial instability which really sucks

Oh well, that's the good old Olympic Games for ya

Having intimate knowledge on the political corruptness of the Olympic Committee.. it is whoever gives them money or favors. It has nothing to do with readiness. I feel bad for the athletes that have to deal with this chaos.
