However the problem is that the Olympic Stadium is now the home of soccer team West Ham United. Hopefully they are able to use it just incase... uhh, yeah. forgot that west ham were now occupying Olympic Stadium. Maybe they use Wembley instead? Don't think they would have the space to fill in a Running Track.

Anyways, away from the banter, London are basically all set for an "emergency" games.
They have a state of the art Olympic Park which after four years still in top notch condition. It has a velodrome, an Aquatics arena (without the extended stands used only for the games, and the "Copper Box" which was the home of Handball during the games. All the other venues such as the O2 arena and the soccer stadiums would be prepared too.

Yikes. The Zika Virus is kinda basically on almost anyone's mind that is competing. Hell, we lost 2 people from basketball to go to the olympics.

This doesn't look good...such a shame that a big sporting event like the Olympic Games can have a huge negative impact on developing areas like Rio...

Each time a city thinks it will boost tourism without understanding that the games are always a drain on local resources. Add corruption and you have a disaster every 2 years.

The whole Brazilian economy is screwed, they got hit super hard by low oil prices. That along with Zika means it's gonna probably be a poor Olympics along with many competitors refusing to compete

Yeah weren't they worried about violent attacks occurring during the last winter olympics? Not surprised this stuff is happening in Rio.

Well this is strange.
The WHOLE Russia's Track and Field team is BANNED from the olympics for the Rio Games. Their the first team in History for a team to be ban from Olympics in any kind. The IOC announced it clear, that the Track and field team chances of a overturn call is very unlikely as stated by the IAAF.
