It always seems like they get the weirdest, trickiest obstacles. That's because everyone in LA thinks big.

Or they get screwed by having the first or second region...the results suck and then the producers realize how hard they made it and how the next regions should be easier, and thus the regions TYPICALLY get easier as they go along...not the case last year with Snake Crossing in Pittsburgh though lol

Hey I thought it was a manageable obstacle, it's everyone else who disagrees Also LA's course seems harder than Atlanta's based on what I've seen here, bad luck for west cost ninja

I wish NBC came up with names that aren't lame as balls. NBC would have named the Hedgehog the "Rotating Cylinder with Spikes" Or they would have named the Rolling Escargot the Spinning Wheel. Oh wait...

FWIW in the SASUKE 26 prediction game I named it the Circus Wheel of Death FTR somehow all the names in ANW 2 were correct, I think that's how we figured out the names of the Jumping Rings, Bungee Rope Climb, and Flying Bar if I'm not mistaken

FWIW in the SASUKE 26 prediction game I named it the Circus Wheel of Death FTR somehow all the names in ANW 2 were correct, I think that's how we figured out the names of the Jumping Rings, Bungee Rope Climb, and Flying Bar if I'm not mistaken For what it's worth it was called Swing Circle in Sasuke 26 (which is the name ANW2 gave it), Jumping Ring was the 2 ring horizontal jump from Sasuke 27. And technically Bungee Rope Climb was an error in ANW2 because that was the name of the Sasuke 25 version and they removed the bungee mount in 26 and left it off in 27 where it kept the name "Rope Climb" (this info was confirmed on a past version of TBS's page for Sasuke, unfortunately that page no longer exists due to the cancellation and revival) Also for ANW3 they incorrectly referred to the Chain See-Saw as "Chain Saw" (which TBH is where I think they got the name Psycho Chainsaw from for the ANW7 Stage 3ob1)

I mean they downgraded it last time... Well really it was a bit of both. They added a second side to it last time Yeah but it's far easier to do the alternate sided peg version than the original; sometimes people try to use that method with the original ring toss.

I would argue it's not even in the ring toss family. It just uses rings. It's more of a salmon ladder with rings than anything else.

The channel guide says - In the Season 8 premiere features four new obstacles, including the Floating Steps, Tic Toc, Escalator, and Ring Jump."
