Auditions are tomorrow for Osaka. They will announce Tokyo at that time (my guess just on history is that it's next week but we'll find out soon). Sad story is that 2 people who were invited to the auditions won't be able to make it.. they were in Kumamoto where the earthquake hit.. one is a fireman so we know what he is doing this weekend. That sucks.

I noticed this just as you posted it. I was about to ask if Yamada was ok as well but this pretty much answers it. Jeez seeing this again already makes me realize how close SASUKE 32 really is! O.O

O.O Regardless if Yamada was okay there, his home is also way north of this area. He is on the island north of Kyushu. He wouldn't have even felt that outside of that big one and even then it would be a small rumble with no injuries. Thankfully. They haven't formally announced when Tokyo's audition is but I expect it to be probably next week (last year they were a week apart). Osaka update: 65 people passed the Push ups phase with the rest eliminated. Now come the interviews to further narrow the list down. To my knowledge they will not contact the ones that past until the end of the Tokyo interviews.

Yep that is most definitely Kouji Hashimoto. He's retired and mostly stopped training so yeah that kinda happens.

No he's happy in retirement. He moved back to his home prefecture and settled down. Why did he quit? The immense pressure of being named anything (he was given the title of Shin Sedai) was too much for him to handle. He retired because of the massive expectations.
