Just btw, the price in NW Italy is a trip to Vegas for two people for the Last Man Standing Because when your husband wins, you win. Also, karma is a cruel maiden.

The Beam Cross for NW UK standards, with how easy qualifying can be, is pretty brutal for that ep. With only 9 people clearing it, and I bet if it wasnt there, and one from any another ep, there would be way more clears.

Yeah that was odd. The previous qualifier courses were very easy, even compared to the newer European variants.
To suddenly throw the I-beam cross in there is hilarious.

It was a big disadvantage for those chosen to compete in episode 5 because it was like 10 times more difficult than any other penultimate obstacle they had in the first 4 episodes.
But last episode was Ladies Night.

(Why) did the Livewire not compete in season 3? Or did I just miss his run (on which he must've fallen because I haven't seen him in any top 10)?

NWUK doesn't seem to want competitive athletes, it's more like a lighthearted Saturday evening fun show for the whole family.
But why did last year's LMS compete then?

Trying to make sure at least one recognizable person ran.

Did they really say Dan got the furthest on the Beam Cross on Heat 5? Im happy that Dan did get to show himself and managed to get to the end of Semis by clearing, but I thought that was Hayley, because Dan tried to dismount somewhat early? Didnt seem like they were making it sound like it was a wildcard.

That Pole Grasper obstacle is way too easy...you could just skip a bunch of em and just use the closest 3.

extracted from ITV's Press Center a summary of the finals course
Tonight, viewers will see our fearless finalists attempt, the Quad Steps, Rolling Log, Coin Flip, followed by Ring Jump, Wind Chimes, Warped Wall. They will then face a brand new element named, ‘Kammy’s Corner’ comprising the Big Dipper and the Three Logs, this is followed by Chimney Climb. If they can make it that far, it’s on to Spider Climb, Spin Cycle, Salmon Ladder, Monkey Peg and Wall Lift. Then it’s the final leg, made up of Crazy Cliff Hanger, Floating Boards and Flying Bars, before they can take on the mighty Mount Midoriyama?
