For all those interested, applications opened a while ago, but they're still accepting.

Got some information regarding NW:UK Season 3 Casting update: -The team will be starting in mid May. -Auditions will be held between late May and June, possibly into early July. -Filming will be in August. -Only successful applicants will be contacted for an audition unfortunately as it is a very small team dealing with a vast amount of applications. Bare this in mind and that they are not able to reply to everyone's individual queries and they have a very tough job. Do remember it is a TV show and getting a place is highly competitive so be sure to make your application as strong as possible and show them what you are all about. If you haven't been successful in the past-that doesn't mean you won't be this time. Best of luck to everyone-have fun training, make the most of the events and meeting other people and just enjoy the journey whether you make it onto the show or not. EDIT: I'll miss the tapings again as I'm on holiday in August

Any predictions for this year? Here are mine -They will force everyone to cheer as loud as possible and wave foam fingers -It will take place in a cramped convention hall -The obstacles will be built pretty badly

Agreed on the size.. but the bigger issues is that they need an actual timer.. watching them celebrate every 5 feet and take what feels like an hour per obstacles is boring as all hell.

I sorta agree... only the average jo's and/or joke competitors seem to do that (but then again, that is most of them)

The size is infuriating, but trust me. As someone who has been in there and seen the size, they do a remarkably well job of "compressing" the course down in size. To fit a 9 obstacle stage 1, a six obstacle stage 2, a three obstacle stage 3 and a 20 metre tower in that space is no easy feat. The course could've been a lot worse. Plus, the obstacle construction was miles better in series 2!
But yeah, they need to move. And you want to know the most infuriating part? To shut down the "can't be outdoors" argument, there is a huge convention centre, approximately 8 TIMES LARGER, that IS CHEAPER TO RENT and in a more open area, less than five miles away named Event City. There is no excuse aside from laziness.

The way I will view the venue issues is that look at ANW 1 and how garbage and cramped that course was, and by ANW4 and 5 it became miles better. Honestly I think they'll figure it out like they have here

Right, I was trying to imply the qualifying courses were bad, and because that's pretty much what NWUK uses for the finals then it's kinda understandable then with how limited they are with a few obstacles and how they're designed.

Any date when it'll premiere? I noticed March 21, 2016 for Ninja Warrior in the UK in the Upcoming Events sections, but I am not certain that is the 3rd season premiere of Ninja Warrior UK.

A course tester has updated a private Facebook group with a rough timetable for series 3. - Callbacks are happening soon, late march-april. - Auditions across the country are happening from Mayish to late June. - The show will tape some time in August, no information on venue etc...
Considering season 2 taped in September 2015, series 3 should premiere in late 2016 or early 2017.

I have lost much respect for the last man standing (last man swimming) for series 2... Owen Mckenzie.
Yesterday he went on a facebook rant about how he admires "the Japs" for their determination, but thinks "most of them are pretty f****** weak". He then proceeds to confuse Sasuke and X-Warrior, say that the Japanese are too scared to compete against other countries (clearly hasn't seen USA VS The World), pegs the Europeans and Americans as "better" and then proceeds to tell us how he deserves an invite to the Sasuke World-Cup. Tool.

This is the same scenario that we kinda have with Isaac in that it's all about him, everyone else should bow down. That's IMHO
